Tawana | Moremi Game Reserve

7 Nov 2024 - 8 Nov 2024

At Tawana, you’ll immerse yourself in one of the greatest wilderness areas on earth, paired with the comfort and quiet luxury of one of our newest safari camps.

As a premier camp in our portfolio, Tawana complements Jack’s Camp, Tuludi and North Island Okavango, creating a memorable circuit of luxurious yet deeply characterful safari destinations in Botswana. Situated in the south-eastern sector of the Moremi Game Reserve on the perennial Gomoti River, Tawana lies just east of the Chitabe and Sandibe concession (NG31), with Chitabe Camp a mere 8 miles away. From here, guests enjoy unrivalled access to the Okavango Delta and the wider wilderness of northern Botswana.

Tawana offers eight spacious suites, including three family units. Each suite spans approximately 100 square metres (130 square metres for family units), with a separate lounge, private terrace and plunge pool, while an outdoor sala provides a serene space to unwind between excursions. The design draws on the organic tones and textures of the landscape, layered with the cultural heritage of the Batawana people, resulting in a contemporary safari camp with a strong and grounded sense of place.

Wilderness Mokete | Okavango Delta

8 Nov 2024 - 9 Nov 2024

In our search for the most raw, remote, and untamed places on the planet, we discovered somewhere so wild, so abundant with life, it left us breathless, and a little bit emotional. Join us and explore where few have ventured before. Be one of the first to venture to this camp in a completely untouched area, where Wilderness is pioneering a safari experience unlike any you’ve seen before.

The name Mokete means celebration or feast. It’s a place to feast on the unexplored and celebrate the untamed. Here the action never ends. This is a place to be awed by the majesty of Africa with an unrivalled diversity of wildlife.

To place you in the heart of the drama, we’ve forgone walls and added cantilevered canvas roofs that slide away, revealing never-ending stars. Accommodating just 18 guests in nine tents, pioneering Mokete provides one of the most promising possibilities of intimate encounters all year. Whether sharing a drink with elephants in the middle of the day, or hearing hyena calls in the dead of night, it’s a feast for the senses.

INSIDER’S TIP: Be sure to spend some time at the sunken hide, eye-level with the colossal feet of breeding herds of elephants.

Xigera Safari Lodge | Moremi Game Reserve

9 Nov 2024 - 10 Nov 2024

In the heart of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Xigera Safari Lodge offers a reimagined safari experience. Set within a private 4,500-hectare concession in the Moremi Game Reserve, each stay unfolds naturally, guided by instinct, curiosity, and the rhythm of the Delta rather than early wake-up calls and rigid itineraries; quite simply, Your Safari, Your Story.

Wildlife and game viewing are exceptional, with intimate encounters shaped by the land itself. All but hidden amid a canopy of magnificent indigenous trees, Xigera offers 12 spacious suites; each individually designed. Built with sustainability in mind – Xigera is solar-powered – the lodge is equally a unique celebration of art, culture and creativity, showcasing the continent’s largest privately owned collection of African art and design in the hospitality sector. From architecture to service, every detail has been considered, created to honour rather than occupy. More than a place to stay, Xigera is a force for good, rooted in respect for Botswana’s land, heritage, wildlife, and people.
