Privately owned Tau Game Lodge is situated in the Big 5 Malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. Accessible by daily scheduled flights or a 4-hour drive from Johannesburg. The main Lodge facilities comprise a spacious reception, an indoor dining area with bar, and a terrace that serves as the "front seat" in the theatre of wildlife, overlooking all the activities at the busy waterhole. The 30 chalets at Tau are privately situated in pristine, indigenous gardens and embrace the spirit of Africa with modern luxury and unsurpassed vistas of the bush and the natural waterhole. At the Spa Oasis, guests are offered rejuvenating spa treatments, surrounded by the beauty of the African Bush. The viewing lounge, situated close to the infinity pool, offers close views on elephants approaching a freshwater drinking point and the curio shop situated near the reception entrance offers a variety of souvenirs and artefacts. The Conference facilities are situated at walking distance from the Lodge and can seat up to 60 delegates. Families with children of all ages are welcome at Tau Game Lodge. Children of 6 years and older can join the adults' safaris.
