Darling Lodge Guest House offers a harmonious blend of old and new reflecting the romantic name of the little town. The main house, the Victorian charm of which has remained intact, offers three individually decorated country style rooms with an urban touch.
The more modern garden annex consists of three further generously appointed rooms with a grapevine covered patio which overlooks the sparkling swimming pool.
The three spacious suites (built in 2020) offer a private lounge with sofa and lounger, a fridge, a Nespresso machine, and a private veranda facing the garden or the swimming pool.
Most rooms are dedicated to a local artist, whose work is on display and can be purchased. It is our pleasure to arrange a visit at the artist's workshop by request.
Generous breakfasts are served in the breakfast room or on the patio.
The lush garden with its ancient pepper and palm trees, fountain spraying water over blossoming roses, aloes, bougainvillea and mass of lavender with its heady fragrance invites guests to relax, unwind, and enjoy.
No TV in rooms. We only accommodate families with children older than 12 years. No Braai/Grill facility. No Pets.
