Inspired by the farm and valley’s lush vineyards, this suite is the perfect winelands hideaway. It offers spectacular panoramic views while the fireplace is an invitation to linger longer after a day of exploration.

A moment for romance is reflected in the décor’s soft powder palette. Comfort reaches the pinnacle in a bath that overlooks vineyards of the estate. A perfect place to reconnect, recharge and re-discover joie de vivre.

The wild continent and its celebration of adventure and life spurred the choice of warm colours and characteristic design. This beautiful space is an reflection of our pride in being able to share the wonder of Africa.

Morocco’s alluring landscape and its famous spices markets are depicted here, connecting the continent’s north and south. A window alongside the bath gives a view of the vineyards – the chance to soak in beauty and emerge refreshed.

In a nod to Franschhoek’s Huguenot heritage, this suite reflects the colours of Lake Geneva and the famed watercolours of Claude Monet. Elegant and subtle, the space is ideal to enjoy and celebrate the finer things of life.

“La Petite Ferme’s former owners are people I greatly admire. Taking stewardship of this magnificent property was a dream come true for me. As such, their suite was given the feel of their native home of Zimbabwe. It glows with African verve.”

“This suite bears our family’s affectionate nickname for my father. Born in Lebanon, he always dreamt of doing business in Africa like his father. But he never did. I had the chance however, to make it happen. His suite was inspired by the Mediterranean, a place of peace and beauty.”

“My mother fell in love with La Petite Ferme the day we first came for lunch as guests. Her Swiss origins led me to introduce elements from that beautiful country, such as a feel of the Alps, and objects like roses she cherishes.”

“A sensational person, Andre is a man with a big heart. He is an essential part of my life and someone who brings me peace. In tribute to him, I sought to reflect the South of France, a magnificent region he loves and often visits.”

“Sryani is a person I highly respect for all she did when my father was ill. She hails from Sri Lanka, a most beautiful country of people who are gentle and peaceful. Her suite speaks of that Indian Ocean island and may hopefully inspire your own visit to that amazing place.”

With sunlit interiors and oak flooring, these suites, each named after one of our wines, emanate tranquil charm.
A registered label name which celebrates South African wines with La Petite Ferme’s master wine maker Wikus Pretorius producing a limited quantity of this label each year.

Named after a white wine grape grown chiefly in the Rhône area of France …Franschhoek enjoys many similarities to the climate and terroir and La Petite Ferme has built up a reputation of producing some of the finest examples of Viognier in South Africa.

The Variation is La Petite Ferme‘s Rhône Style Red Blend - a variety of factors and creativity went into crafting this blend and also links into La Petite Ferme’s owner being Swiss Lebanese with a variety of background and culture.

This name originated as a result from the baboons visiting the estate from time to time and helping themselves to some of the estates finest fruit.

A decision on an issue, an opinion or a judgement”… this wine pays tribute to the Honourable Chief Justice JR Dendy Young, a man with integrity and high moral principles. La Petite Ferme acknowledges the efforts of his esteemed career and brave decisions he took against all odds. In essence, “The Verdict”… with regards to the quality of the wine, is of great importance each year.
