Wasa Lodge is the ideal venue to explore Kasanka from and lies on the edge of Lake Wasa in the eastern half of the park just 12 kms from the park entrance at the tarmac road. From this location, access to the famous Fibwe Hide for the bats and sitatunga is an easy 15 minutes drive or 2 hour walk away. Wasa Lodge has a fine view with puku, hippo and sometimes even sitatunga visible from the main dining area.

Mfuwe Lodge, situated in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park is renowned for its welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Our lodge provides the visitor with a special glimpse of Africa as she was - untouched, unspoilt and unforgettable.
The main living and dining areas is furnished with comfortable seating, beautiful botanical print cushions,and African inspired art works.
The deck extends over the lagoon, to make the most of armchair game viewing, outdoor dining, and a shady place to relax by the swimming pool.
Mfuwe Lodge has 18 luxury, air -conditioned, en suite thatched chalets, with convertible beds, see through trellidors opening onto their own private decks with game viewing opportunities.
The Directors House house has two adjoining rooms with a private garden and swimming pool.
The Phil Berry Centre is situated in a secluded area of the garden near the infamous Wild Mango Tree. The air conditioned library and studio offer a quiet relaxing space to read, edit photos or to have small group get togethers.
Game drives and walks are conducted by an experienced and knowledgeable team of guides.
The lodge also boasts a Bush Spa where a range of relaxing and healing African therapies are provided.
