Somalisa Camp, in the heart of Hwange National Park has twice been named Zimbabwe’s Leading Tented Safari Camp in the World Travel Awards (in 2019 and 2020) and it’s no secret why. It’s also the first lodge in Zimbabwe to receive the GOLD Green Tourism Certification.
Elegant in style, organic and natural to emulate the incredible African bush of the surrounds. A mere seven sailcloth tents are found on this private concession in the Hwange National Park, making it intimate, quiet and exclusive. Nyamatusi means “wild game”. A fitting name since this place is about as wild as it gets with an abundance of game. It doesn’t take much to see that this place is spectacular.
