The crown jewels of La Plume are the five Superior Suites. Their private entrances open onto sunny verandas overlooking the expansive gardens ebbing away until your gaze meets the Swartberg Mountains in the distance. Indulge in the luxury of these Suites, adorned with rich fabrics, ostrich leather and carefully selected antiques where modern amenities and abundant comforts like cut crystal glasses were used to enhance your stay. The spacious open plan lounges boast comfortable arm chairs from where you can enjoy the view or a movie on the big screen TV. Disappear amongst bubbles in the large free standing tub positioned in the centre of the under floor heated bathroom with walk in shower and separate toilet.

Please note: La Plume's Superior Suites can accommodate up to two additional children with carry in single bed/s to sleep with adults in suite.

The Plume Cottage consist of two interconnecting suites each with its own bedroom, full bathroom and lounge sharing a kitchenette. The Cottage is the ideal accommodation solution for your family or friends travelling together. Whether you choose the comfort of the veranda for a game of cards or just relaxing on the loungers underneath the big old date palm, you will have a bird’s eye view of your children playing on the vast rolling lawns. The peace and tranquility extends to the interior with the children having their own, separate suite via an inter-leading door. Both bathrooms have Victorian tubs, separate showers and double basins in marble-topped antiques.

This typical South African farm house is off the main property nestled among alfalfa fields overlooking ostrich enclosures and a mere 100 meters from the main homestead. The villa has 2 bedrooms each with its own full en-suite bathroom with all bathroom amenities, fluffy white towels and robes, a large open plan living- and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea facilities. The Premier Rooms are located as follows: 4 rooms in De Oude Pastorie, and 2 rooms in the Albert and Victoria Honeymoon Cottage. De Oude Pastorie rooms are all double story, and have the familiar sash windows and flat-roofed feature of most Southern Cape villages. (ITT)

The Village Square offers beautifully decorated rooms, each unique in design. The building resembles traditional building styles of the early Cape Colony, and the rooms are decorated accordingly. These rooms include Hanover, Drostdy, Ikaya, Arniston and the Victorian Cottages. (ITT)

The beautifully decorated Barn rooms date back to the 1800’s, and were originally used as stables for travellers’ horses while journeying along the Garden Route. The rooms were converted into the cosy bedrooms they are now in 1996, and offer beautiful views during your stay. (ITT)

The Log Rooms are Swiss-style, double story chalets built in 1988. The building is situated around a fountain, and offers beautiful views from all rooms. These rooms provide an experience that emphasises the wood-cutting legacy which Tsitsikamma is so proud of. (ITT)
