Moremi lies on the Eastern Extremity of the Okavango Delta, Habitats range from wide open floodplains, marshes, lagoons, papyrus fringed channels, vast stands of reeds, mixed woodland and open grassland. As a result of the extremely variable habitat the diversity of both wildlife and birdlife is excellent.
The mobile camp will be set up the team in an exclusive campsite in the community area. The camp has fully equipped 2.5m x 2.5m dome tents. The tents are equipped with two ground mattresses, bedding, towels and lights. A communal al fresco bush shower and bush toilet will be provided with hot water for the bush bucket showers and wash basins.
Meals will be prepared by the camp chef and served in the dining tent- a classic mobile safari. During the stay there will be exploration in the Moremi Game Reserve on game drives during the day and afternoon. Moremi is amongst the best game reserves in Africa for viewing the endangered African wild dog. It is home to the resident herd of several buffalo whose range cover the territories of many prides of lion which may be seen flanking the ever-moving herds. Breeding herds of elephant move between their browsing areas and the Mopane Forests and the fresh water of the Okavango.

The Khwai River forms a boundary between the Moremi Reserve and the Khwai Community Area which is one of the oldest game viewing areas in Botswana, the fees paid directly benefit the local communities.

Exploring after dark with the spotlights gives the opportunity to experience the nocturnal animals that are rarely encountered during the day.

The Savuti Marsh, fed by the Savuti Channel, has developed a reputation over the years as one of the world’s premier predator viewing areas, boasting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the African continent. The Channel, dry since 1982, started flowing again in 2010 and is now once again flooding the Marsh, an area of sweet grasses that attracts herbivores of every description and, this being Africa, their attendant predators.

The tents are equipped with queen, double or twin beds, bedding, towels and lights. Each tent has its own rustic en-suite al fresco bush shower and bush toilet with hot water for the bush bucket showers and wash basins.
Meals will be prepared by the camp chef and served in the dining tent- a classic mobile safari. The activities on offer are morning and afternoon game drives through the park and along the fringes of the Channel and Marsh.
