The 28 individual self-catering accommodation units at Desert Camp are uniquely designed to blend in perfectly with the natural surrounding environment.

Each spacious air-conditioned bedroom feature twin beds, space for suitcases and a fold-out sleeper couch where two small children under the age of 12 years can be accommodated free of charge when sharing the room with two full paying adults. Please enquire with your booking to ensure preparations are made as required.

The en-suite bathroom comprises of wash basin with large mirror and vanity space, shelves and hanging space, an electronic safe as well as a separate toilet and spacious walk in shower.

On the outside the patio features a fitted kitchenette with wash up area, under counter fridge and 2-plate hob that is enclosed with a zip-up canvas cover. Guests at Desert Camp who wish to not cook for themselves, can make use of our nearby Sossusvlei Lodge Restaurant which is about 5 minutes travel down the road towards the Namib Naukluft Park's entrance.

Sossusvlei Lodge is well known for sensational cuisine and many guests have praised especially the delectable buffet dinner experience.

The al fresco terrace offers magnificent views over Elim Dune and of the floodlit waterhole where you can watch the passing parade of oryx, springbok, jackal, ground squirrel and hyena, whilst enjoying exquisite food and wine.

Start your day with a scrumptious buffet breakfast with an extensive selection of all the favourite delectable breakfast foods and treats. For lunch the chef will spoil you with the mouth-watering meal of the day accompanied by a variety of salads and side dishes. Located in the south of Etosha National Park, Okaukuejo Rest Camp was formerly a military outpost founded in 1901. The property features a nearby waterhole, which is a hub of animal activity starting in the early hours of the morning. After sunset floodlights illuminate the waterhole, which is the best time and place to see the endangered black rhino.

Okaukuejo Rest Camp offers a wide range of accommodation, as well as some necessities, such as a petrol station and a shop. The restaurant and bar offer refreshments and delicious meals, while the swimming pool offers relief on hot days.

The lodge centres on an old German Fort overlooking the King Nehale waterhole; an elevated decked walkway provides excellent opportunities for enjoying the surrounding scenery, wildlife and the spectacular sunsets. Drotsky’s Cabins on the western panhandle of the Okavango Delta near Shakawe in the northwestern corner of Botswana, is an original pioneer lodge. The bar at Drotsky’s Cabins is frequented by both locals and tourists. The papyrus channels and lush vegetation of the river make the cabins an ideal venue for fishing and bird watching. The river boasts seventeen species of fish, most notable are the tiger fish and bream. Apart from many opportunities to view birds and some wildlife of the Shakawe area in Botswana, the lodge also offers a place for rest and relaxation.

Bushman Plains is an intimate camp with just four classic Meru style guest tents. The tents are large (8m x 4m) with an en-suite bathroom area included. The Savuti Marsh, fed by the Savuti Channel, has developed a reputation over the years as one of the world’s premier predator viewing areas, boasting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the African continent. The Channel, dry since 1982, started flowing again in 2010 and is now once again flooding the Marsh, an area of sweet grasses that attracts herbivores of every description and, this being Africa, their attendant predators.

The mobile camp will be set up the team in an exclusive campsite in the community area. The camp has fully equipped 2.5m x 2.5m dome tents. The tents are equipped with two stretchers, mattresses, bedding, towels and lights. Each tent has its own rustic en-suite al fresco bush shower and bush toilet with hot water for the bush bucket showers and wash basins.

Meals will be prepared by the camp chef and served in the dining tent- a classic mobile safari. The activities on offer are morning and afternoon game drives through the park and along the fringes of the Channel and Marsh.

Daily boat cruise into Chobe National Park. A very special experience as all game is coming to the water's edge to drink. Get close to herds of elephants, crocodile, hippos and all other animals coming to the water. Watch out for the fantastic birdlife.

On our daily game drive into Chobe National Park Elephants by the hundreds, herds of buffalo, different type of antelopes, giraffes, and even lion and leopard are regular sights. Not to mention the amazing bird life with over 400 different species.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with the option of a cooked breakfast. Lunches are a la carte with a variety of salads, warm dishes, cheeses and cold meats. Dinner is a set menu. We serve starter, main course and dessert.
