Eco Lodge Nam Et Phou Louey is built and managed by the community and overlooks the Nam Nern River from the forest edge. Accommodation consists of spherical eco-lodges that hang from the trees, allowing guests to observe and immerse themselves in the flora and fauna of the Nam Et-Phou Louey Biodiversity Conservation Area. Additional amenities include observation decks for watching the area’s endangered tiger population.

The stylish and comfortable Nong Kiau Riverside is set amongst the trees, along the far side of the Nam Ou river valley. The 15 en-suite bungalows, all with balcony views overlooking the village and river have been tastefully built in keeping with the surrounding area and overall atmosphere of the town. Due to limited electricity in the area, the rooms are not air-conditioned, however they are all equipped with hot water, fans and mosquito nets. Keen to promote responsible tourism in the area, the owners have mountain bikes for rent and encourage independent but conscientious exploration by their guests.

Villa Maydou is at the heart of the historic center of Luang Prabang, the former royal capital of Laos, a UNESCO World Heritage site, nearby of the Pagoda “Wat Meuna” and near the Nam Khan river old bridge.

Villa Maydou is composed of five beautifully appointed and comfortable Lao traditional houses within a large tropical garden which includes a salt pool.
