Activities, all based in-house and facilitated by their hand picked professional guides, are naturally focused on land and water safaris in the comfort of their game drive vehicles and boats. A full day activity to experience the magic of the Falls in neighbouring Zimbabwe. You will be transported from the lodge to the entrance of the National Park for a tour of the Falls at your own leisure. You will then be collected and transported to lunch, into town, to the local markets or for a spot of shopping, as you wish. The Elephant Camp is surrounded by natural beauty, and we focus on creating a space where guests can form a relationship with and learn about the environment they are in. We do this through our partnership with The Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust, located in the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary adjacent to the lodge. The Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust, a non-profit entity and dedicated vehicle for promoting conservation awareness, education, and community empowerment.
A tour of the Trust is part of our guest experience. Guests will visit the High-Care Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre and Laboratory facilities to learn about innovative conservation initiatives from a team of passionate research and wildlife experts.

The Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary and Orphanage was established as a safe haven for orphaned and injured elephants after culling operations in the 1980s. The resident herds roam freely through the wilderness concession, and when guests visit the Sanctuary, they are taken to the elephant, not the other way around. The Elephant Encounter is best described as an experience and not an activity. Our goal is to have visitors spend time connecting with resident herds in the most positive and natural way possible while learning about this keystone species and gaining a deeper understanding of conservation initiatives.
In an open thatch boma on the edge of the Masuwe River in the Sanctuary, guests will listen to a presentation by one of our experienced elephant caretakers. They will learn about the history of the Sanctuary, the elephants, and the rescue-rehabilitate-reintegrate program. Then, guests venture out to where the herd has chosen to spend the afternoon. They are invited to take photographs, observe and immersive themselves in the experience.
The Zambezi River Sunset Cruise is one of the most popular activities in Victoria Falls. Typically lasting around two hours, the luxury Zambezi Royal cruise explores sections of the upper Zambezi close to the Victoria Falls and further upstream where the Zambezi and Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Parks flank the river. Guests can look forward to 5-star service, hot & cold canapés, creative cocktails and a selection of beverages. The cruise captain will give a brief presentation on the journey of the Zambezi while guests enjoy the stunning scenery on the upper Zambezi River.

Situated in the internationally famous Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, this exclusive 5-star lodge boasts nine beautifully appointed, thatched suites consisting of two separate en-suite bedrooms, each with their own deck and private heated plunge pools. These rooms lead onto a central elegantly furnished lounge. The decor combines a colonial and classic mix of colours, fabrics and textures. All suites have air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, and covered patios, decks and private heated plunge pools. The main lodge features a bar, gourmet dining area, wine cellar, library and a patio overlooking the main lodge pool and indigenous gardens to one of 5 waterholes that surround the lodge and offer fantastic views of game drinking and bathing.

The three large Executive Suites have canvas roofs for an authentic safari ambience and the romance of sleeping in Bedouin-style tents. Canvas roofs are set above solid walls for comfort, privacy and security as well as efficient air-conditioning and fans.
Each Executive Suite has a spacious bathroom with free-standing bath, double vanities, double shower and toilet as well as outdoor shower atrium. The bedrooms have plush sitting areas leading out onto covered patios with private heated plunge pool and wooden viewing decks overlooking surrounding waterholes and the magnificent African bush.

Savanna Suite
The Savanna Suite is an opulent home away from home under thatch.Two large, beautifully furnished bedrooms lie on either side of an inter-connecting lounge. Each has a spacious bathroom with free-standing bath, double vanities, double shower and toilet. The bathrooms open onto paved outdoor showers. The bedrooms have glass doors with screens leading out onto covered patios, heated plunge pool and wooden viewing deck. From here guests enjoy views of a private waterhole and the beauty of the African bush.
The lounge is a harmonious meld of elegance and comfort with sofas grouped around a television and DVD centre, and a cosy reading nook in front of the fireplace. Step through sliding glass doors onto a large covered patio where candle-lit dinners or private pre-dinner cocktails may be enjoyed. An attached fully equipped kitchen and guest restroom complete the impression of being in one's own exquisite home.
The Savanna Suite's unique facilities are much in demand by families who would like to have their children under the same roof but not in the same bedroom, or groups of friends wishing to spend quality time together. A butler in attendance at dinner and a private game viewing vehicle with dedicated ranger and tracker to take care of all their needs completes the Savanna Suite package.
Childminding can be arranged for children younger than 2 years old, allowing parents the leisure time to partake in game drives.

Guests will enjoy two game drives per day. Our vehicles are specially adapted for comfort and to seat 6 guests, ensuring a personal safari. Seats on the vehicles can be individually heated and there are USB and USB-C charging points on each row, ensuring guests are able to keep their devices charged.
Bush walks are available in the morning with your ranger and will be tailor made around guests needs.
Savanna has an air-conditioned gym we welcome guests to use during their stay.
Savanna is very involved with its local communities, and we offer guests the chance to learn more about the projects we are running which include vegetable gardens and assisting the orphanage, as well as supporting an Elderly care home.
A Village tour is also available to give guests an insight to the local people and their day to day lives.
