Our 10 Stable Suites are the most spacious suite category at the Cape Cadogan, featuring generous living spaces designed for privacy and flexibility. Starting from 60m2, these large suites include interleading, triple and two-bedroom options – perfect for multi-generational families, business travellers and guests seeking a more exclusive experience. Each suite features a lounge and bar, with select suites offering a courtyard or Juliet balcony.

Inspired by the farm and valley’s lush vineyards, this suite is the perfect winelands hideaway. It offers spectacular panoramic views while the fireplace is an invitation to linger longer after a day of exploration.

The wild continent and its celebration of adventure and life spurred the choice of warm colours and characteristic design. This beautiful space is an reflection of our pride in being able to share the wonder of Africa.

Morocco’s alluring landscape and its famous spices markets are depicted here, connecting the continent’s north and south. A window alongside the bath gives a view of the vineyards – the chance to soak in beauty and emerge refreshed.

In a nod to Franschhoek’s Huguenot heritage, this suite reflects the colours of Lake Geneva and the famed watercolours of Claude Monet. Elegant and subtle, the space is ideal to enjoy and celebrate the finer things of life.

Named after a white wine grape grown chiefly in the Rhône area of France …Franschhoek enjoys many similarities to the climate and terroir and La Petite Ferme has built up a reputation of producing some of the finest examples of Viognier in South Africa.

The Variation is La Petite Ferme‘s Rhône Style Red Blend - a variety of factors and creativity went into crafting this blend and also links into La Petite Ferme’s owner being Swiss Lebanese with a variety of background and culture.

This name originated as a result from the baboons visiting the estate from time to time and helping themselves to some of the estates finest fruit.

The apartment, situated downstairs, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan living area that has French doors opening onto a patio, as well as into a private enclosed garden. There are no sea views from the bedrooms, only from the living area

3 Large executive king bed suites each with full en suite bathrooms. Each room has a private balcony or deck with breathtaking views featuring the indigenous forest, Knysna Lagoon, the famous 'Heads' to the Indian Ocean beyond.

2 Large luxury king bed rooms. Each room has a full en-suite bathroom and opens via glass sliding doors to a large deck overlooking the swimming pool and garden with interrupted views of the Knysna lagoon in the distance.

Waterside house is a rare gem on Thesen Island built in the colonial maritime architectural style. Walk through the front door into pure peace and tranquillity. The downstairs floor decorated in harmonious water colours consists of two en-suite bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. One bedroom is a double and the second bedroom is a twin. Both rooms have a shower and toilet en-suite. Leading off the kitchen (which is fully equipped with every modern appliance) and dining area, is a spacious sun deck with an outside lounge and jetty down to the canal. Here is the perfect place for sundowners and a braai (barbecue) in true South African style. There is a second deck off the lounge which is the perfect place to curl up and read a book while listening to the water lapping on the sides of the jetty.

Upstairs is a beautiful main bedroom, study and full en-suite bathroom which has a private sun deck leading off it for those much needed quiet moments. The second upstairs bedroom has an en-suite shower and toilet and its own sun deck.

Waterside house has full satellite DSTV for those guests who would like to catch up on the news, sport or would just like to relax in front of a movie. The Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

If you wish, Kanonkop House will host your entire stay with personal housekeeping and a cook to prepare your breakfasts (the most important meal of the day), as well as full concierge available 24 hours a day.

The Selwyn Penthouse suite has panoramic views of the lagoon, two private balconies and is magnificent in every way. It has a fully stocked complimentary mini bar, tea and coffee making facility which includes an espresso machine. This suite also includes a sitting area and stunning en-suit bathroom with a view of the lagoon and Knysna Heads.

This suite is the newest addition to Kanonkop House. Completed in October 2017. This room is aptly named ‘Diamond’ The room comprises of a separate bathroom which overlooks the lagoon and has a private deck. A separate toilet and shower with a His and Hers hand basin. A rain shower and slipper bath both have lagoon views. The shower and toilet doors have been sandblasted in a magnificent diamond pattern which really makes this bathroom a feature on its own. This encapsulates the diamond theme of the room beautifully. The bedroom has feature fire place, and large lounge area with a picturesque view of the lagoon. Two folding staking glass doors opens up to a private deck and seating area to our stunning indigenous garden and forest, with spectacular views.

All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, TV-DSTV, WiFi internet access, tea and coffee stations, un-interrupted views of golf course, sea and mountain.

There are twelve Suites available - 8 Suites are centrally located and offer views across the waterhole whilst 4 Suites have a more private bush setting and include their own plunge pools.
