African Relish Cottages are located in Prince Albert in the Karoo in the Western Cape. They have large stoeps for outdoor living, reeded ceilings and elegantly simple interiors, combining luxury with old world charm. Full self-catering with linen and towels provided. Tea, coffee and rusks are included. The cottages come with a garden, kitchen, lounge and spacious en-suite bathrooms. All cottages are a minimum of 90 m² to allow for comfortable stays, short or long.
The African Relish restaurant is open on weekends and by arrangement they can cater for private functions and dinners. Their accommodation is part of the African Relish recreational cooking school. Book a cooking class or eat at their weekend restaurant while you are in town. The menu changes each week, designed around season and local produce, and takes Karoo cuisine on a contemporary journey.
The location of the cottages are in the centre of town that makes it ideal to walk to all the restaurants and quirky shops nearby. Activities include driving through Swartberg Pass, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, a visit to Gay's Guernsey Dairy, see a show at The Showroom Theatre, or visit Karoo Looms weavery. (ITT)
