Moremi Crossing is a new 16 tented camp built on a palm fringed island surrounded by the Moremi's game-rich seasonal floodplains and overlooking Chief's Island. Moremi Crossing will be a new style safari camp combining luxury with simplicity. This is a 100% eco-friendly development featuring the latest in solar and waste disposal technology. Accommodation consists of 16 en suite and spacious tents on raised decks, each with their own veranda. We have both a Family Tent and a Honeymoon Tent. The Okavango is an immense river that never meets the sea. Instead, its crystal clear waters spread across the Kalahari Desert, forming Africa 's largest wetland wonder. The Delta is an abundant oasis amid the vast plains and pans of the desert that covers most of Southern Africa . Its waterways are a mesh of meandering and intercepting channels, creating a haven for Africa 's most celebrated wildlife.

Tented suite Family Tent

Single twin or king size double beds, open hanging space for clothes, writing desk, bug / insect repellents are provided. All rooms are elevated on wooden platforms with a small private viewing deck and magical views over the Boro River and Chief’s Island.

En-suite, outdoor shower heated by solar power, separate flushing toilet, hot and cold-water supply.

Family unit includes en-suite double bedroom, separate second twin bedroom, each have their own en-suite bathrooms. Minimum age is six years. Families travelling with children aged 6–12 years are required to book private activities. Children under 12 years are not permitted on mokoro trips or guided walks.

Enjoy a classic Botswana safari at Mma Dinare Camp. Operated in collaboration with the Sankuyo Community Trust in the Dinare Private Reserve (allowing off-road and nighttime game drives), this traditional safari stay has a positive impact.

Keep your camera handy! Mma Dinare (meaning ‘Mother Buffalo’ in Setswana) is designed to embrace the natural surroundings. Thatched and open, the central area is a great place to relax and watch the wildlife drawn to the Gomoti River. There are nine canvas tents and one family tent, each with an elevated deck, en suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. The main area comprises a bar, swimming pool and safari shop. The dining and lounge area is raised on stilts and decked, with an attractive fire pit area adjoining it.

Seasonal mokoro rides thread through the Okavango Delta waters. The Sankuyo community directly benefits from every visit. Over 60 employees at the Dinare camps are from the Sankuyo village, and further proceeds support local development. Citizens of Sankuyo fund crucial projects via this trust, such as installing household water connections that minimise human contact with dangerous animals and a high-tech, eco-friendly solar system.

Spacious tents - consisting of a private lounge area with secluded verandas and spacious interiors, with en-suite bathrooms. Tent Size of the tents is 60m2 excluding outdoor deck in front (varying in size but approximately 15m2 – 25m2).

Family tent consists of two luxury tents joined together each with it's own en-suite bathroom. Only one entrance which is through the main bedroom.

The close proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport and Kasane International Airport makes it easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Safari Lodge. The lodge has been recently renovated; matching a magical lodge experience to the spectacular game viewing.

All meals are served on our restaurant terrace with views of the garden.

Our a la carte dinner menu changes daily with a focus on a more fine dining experience for guests. Menu choices are always available for guests with specific dietary requirements.
