An oasis set among the Mokolwane palms on the edge of the pans. It is ideally situated close to the entrance to the Nata Sanctuary and is just off the main road, 10 km from Nata village. This is the junction to the Okavango, Chobe and Francistown areas.

The Nata River delta feeds the Sua Pan in the Nata sanctuary and forms the breeding ground for a host of water birds including pelicans and flamingo in their thousands, transforming the shore line into a pink haze blending into the western sky. Nata Lodge offers guided tours in open safari vehicles into the sanctuary, not to be missed.

wilderness provides a unique opportunity to discover the unusual and secretive nocturnal members of the animal kingdom. A two-hour drive offers the chance to see a different world of nocturnal species including owls and a variety of diurnally elusive predators.

Walking in the footsteps of our safari guides along the banks of the Khwai River provides you with an

opportunity to learn more about the indigenous flora and traditional medicinal uses of plants, getting up

close and personal with nature. A bush walk is a sensory experience, spending time observing, listening, learning and reconnecting to the African animal kingdom. Take to the skies on a helicopter experience in Khwai for the quintessential Botswana safari and get an entirely different vantage point over this unique wilderness area. The breathtaking world of the Okavango Delta is a multi-faceted marvel of nature, witnessed in vibrant detail from above.

Soaring through the air up to 1000 feet on your Khwai helicopter experience will uncover the true vastness of the Okavango Delta on one of Africa’s last remaining wetland excursions. Permanent waterways, palm islands and lagoons, and incredible wildlife sightings offer great photographic opportunities. You can also include a special champagne stop on your helicopter experience in Khwai. Land on a deserted palm island, pop the cork and enjoy the astonishing views while discovering more about the Delta.

The lifeline that is the Khwai River makes the area a wild haven as this stable water source also lies along a seasonal animal migratory route. A mokoro experience in Khwai, floating down the river in a dugout canoe, brings another perspective to Botswana’s wildlife wonders. Mokoros, traditionally crafted from hardwood tree trunks, have long served as a vital mode of transportation across the waterways of the Okavango Delta. In recent times, however, their purpose has transformed, as these very mokoros have found a new role in fostering sustainable tourism.

The new hotel is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River, which is the southernmost tributary to the Okavango Delta. Cresta Maun will offer a tranquil setting from which visitors can explore the wonders of Botswana. Being just 10 km north of the center of Maun – the tourism capital of Botswana – and 15 minutes’ drive from Maun International Airport, the resort will be well situated for adventure-seekers, holidaymakers and business travelers. Pepere Island Tented Camp is located deep in the Okavango Delta on a remote island set on the Pepere Lagoon.  Guests can enjoy guided game walks and Mokoro excursions. Accommodation is in ensuite mini Meru style tents that are classic and reminds us of the original Okavango experience.

Along the edge of the mighty Zambezi River, lies the water sanctuary of Zambezi Mubala Lodge & Camp. A bird-lover’s dream, this lodge is home to one of the largest colonies of Carmine Bee-eaters, that live along the banks of the majestic Zambezi. Birds are often joined by the occasional hippo or crocodile, baking in the shallow waters along the banks. Guests can relax and watch the colours of life sail along the steady current of the river.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park.  Right on the doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.  Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.

The close proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport and Kasane International Airport makes it easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Safari Lodge.  The lodge has recently been renovated, matching a magical lodge experience to the spectacular game viewing.  (ITT)
