Diphlu River Lodge is the ideal destination for those visiting the Kaziranga National Park and sits on the banks of the Diphlu River, overlooking the national park.

Diphlu River Lodge has several guest areas for lounging. The Machan, which means ‘jungle platform’, is an air-conditioned sitting and dining area embellished with handicrafts and artefacts. The Machan has 2 verandas, a large one with a high thatched ceiling equipped with a bar and the other small which overlooks the farmland. The hilltop is a naturally open area flanked by bamboo groves and is ideal for barbeques and cultural performances that are arranged through the lodge. There’s also the outdoor coffee area under a tree strung with lights and the riverbank area for picnic lunches arranged at the lodge.

Kohima Camp Nagaland | Nagaland

The picturesque state of Nagaland is bound by Assam in the west; Myanmar in the east; Arunachal Pradesh in the north and Manipur in the south, forming a part of what are known as the Seven Sisters, the seven states of north-east India, full of rolling hills and verdant rain forests.

The Naga people, comprising 16 proud tribes were once fearsome warriors and head hunters who have retained much of their traditional and cultural heritage, visible in their elaborate costumes and ritualistic headdresses which incorporate tiger tusks, bear skins, hornbill feathers and other symbolic accoutrements.
