Overlooking the Ugab River Valley, the Chalet includes two ¾ beds for two adults per chalet but for minor children we have additional arrangements.

Stand alone camp sites with a BBQ and wash basin. An ablution block with 3 separate bathrooms (Shower, WC & wash basin) and a boiler for warm water. No Power

Twin chalet

16 spacy chalets with two ¾ beds. Chalets are constructed on the edge of the ridge on top of the terrace, each with its own shower (bathroom) and WC (toilet) area separate from each other. 9 chalets facing the east (sunrise) and 7 facing west (sunset). Each chalet has got its own veranda with a panoramic view overlooking the landscape of the historic UGAB VALLEY. A roof fan provide a bit of comfort in the hot summer nights and electricity are provided by battery power. Due to the battery power supply, no air conditioners nor any fridges in the chalets are installed. The use of hair driers are prohibited, but smaller electrical appliances (eg. cameras, cell phones, etc.) can be charged within the chalets.

Individual Units

Uniquely positioned amid an indigenous Mopane forest, the accommodation units at Etosha Village ensure maximum privacy and tranquillity.

The 55 individual units offer a spacious air-conditioned bedroom and a modern en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet and wash basin with vanity space. Each twin-bedded room features a fold-out sleeper couch, electronic safe, space for suitcases, hanging space and a refreshment station with a fridge and coffee- or tea making facilities.

Two small children under the age of 12 years can be accommodated on the fold-out sleeper couch free of charge (meal charges applicable) when sharing the room with two full paying adults. Please enquire with your booking to ensure preparations are made as required.

The patio and outside seating area create an ideal space to sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.

The two handicapped and wheelchair friendly units are designed with a ramp instead of stairs, a more spacious bathroom for easy wheelchair access and the room has a different interior arrangement for easier access.

Etosha Village is equipped with two open-view game viewing vehicles that take a maximum of 10 passengers per vehicle.

Morning drives to Etosha National Park commence at approximately 06H30, depending on gate opening times which vary during seasonal changes. These trips last for approximately 6 hours and follow a route through the Andersson Gate to Okaukuejo and further on to various waterholes in a circular route back to Okaukuejo.

Our experienced guides driving these vehicles have extensive knowledge of the area and animals and give a "running commentary" as the trips proceed.

Etosha Village is equipped with two open-view game viewing vehicles that take a maximum of 10 passengers per vehicle.

Full-day trips to Etosha National Park commence at approximately 06H30, depending on gate opening times which vary during seasonal changes. These trips follow a route through the Andersson Gate to Okaukuejo and further on to various waterholes in a wide circular route back to Okaukuejo.

Lunch packs can be ordered at reception to take along or guests can have an optional lunch stop at one of the restcamps inside the Park for lunch (Lunch will be for your own account).

What better way than to end an exciting day of game-viewing in Etosha with a relaxing Sundowner Drive.

We depart from the Etosha Village in the late afternoon in our open game viewer vehicles. You will experience breath-taking views of the Mopanie forests with occasional photo stops where our knowledgeable guides explain the fauna and flora.

For sunset we go higher up to the mountains to watch a spectacular sunset while enjoying sundowner drinks and snacks.

At a typical Namibian Rural Village families are divided into three areas when dining. Traditionally one area is dedicated to men, one to women and the other for the elderly and children. When Etosha Village was designed, we remained true to this tradition and created three different dining areas at our restaurant, but of course not split into gender groups.

Etosha Village is well known for inspiring cuisine and many guests have claimed that it is the best buffet dinner experience in Namibia! You can start your day with a scrumptious buffet breakfast with an extensive selection of all the favourite delectable breakfast foods and treats.

Lunch is served a' la carte with loads of mouth-watering dishes to choose from.

The popular buffet dinner will leave you spoiled for choice between the salads, side dishes, grilled meats and stir-fries - all prepared fresh and in front of every guest! For the perfect ending there is a range of decadent dessert sensations as well as a variety of cheeses and biscuits.*

At the buffet area there is a 24 hour coffee station with a variety of coffees and teas to enjoy at any time!

Enticing lunch packs can also be ordered the evening before at reception to take along on self-drives or guided excursions to Etosha National Park.
