The Manor House
The Manor House has 5 Manor Suites and 1 Vineyard Suite (located adjacent to the main house) accommodating 12 adults and 2 children. These suites can be booked separately for a romantic stay, or as a 6-bedroom exclusive-use Villa in the Winelands, ideally suited for friends and family.

Explore the Estate acre by acre on foot. You’ll feel the wonderful freedom and peace of solitude in an open landscape, filled with moments of reflection.
For those who enjoy the time with their mountain bike, bring yours along for a vineyard exploration. While Brookdale Estate does not have formal trails, you are encouraged to explore on your own. The views are endless with 67 hectares of land to explore. Bring your own mountain bike or we can hire in e-bikes for you at a reasonable charge.
The Manor House offers in-room spa treatments ranging from massages, manicures to pedicures to ensure that you are feeling relaxed and pampered! Bookings in advance is essential.
The workout space is tucked off to the side of the Manor House, with easy access to enjoy a heart-pumping session. Complete with a selection of free weights, endurance rowing machine, elliptical machine, stationary bike, bench, yoga ball and yoga mats, find the perfect speed and intensity for you. Guests have 24-hour access to the space for a workout at any time of the day or night to ensure all your fitness needs are met. Take the yoga mat out for a sunrise or sunset salutation on the terrace with views over the valley for the perfect start or end to your day.

The iconic Taal Monument is located on a hill that gazes out over the Paarl Valley. Taal, meaning ‘language’, was built in October 1975 to commemorate Afrikaans being declared an official language of South Africa, separate from Dutch. Not only is its location surrounded by incredible views, but it also has hiking and biking trails with walks that can be done from the monument to a close-by rock feature.
The Bistro @ Brookdale

The day starts as dawn breaks over the African bushveld. After an early morning wakeup call, coffee, tea & rusks are served on the main deck. Shortly after, depart in an open Land Rover with experienced Field Guides and Trackers who will share their extensive knowledge of the bush.
These drives are undertaken at times best suited for game viewing which vary depending on the season but typically start early morning.
The afternoon game drive extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight.
After a sumptuous Breakfast is served either back at the camp or in the bush, guests are offered walks to suit their interests and fitness levels and are accompanied by an armed ranger and tracker.
Walks allow guests a better chance to see some of the smaller creatures of the bush as well as an opportunity to learn more about the flora and fauna of the region & to have a chance to follow tracks in more detail.
