Oddballs’ Enclave is a small, secluded off-shoot of the Okavango’s most famous destination, set on the same beautiful island and with spectacular views over the floodplains and old-growth forest of the island fringe. With just five elevated ‘mini-meru’ walk-in tents, each en-suite, with single or king beds and fine linen, The Enclave is the perfect venue for small groups, families and those seeking an intimate atmosphere in which to luxuriate in one of the world’s most beautiful settings. The Enclave is on a small island just off the south-western edge of Chief's Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango, and bordering Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is accessible only by light aircraft. On arrival, you will be welcomed to the island by your private guide, who will remain your guide for the duration of your stay.

Mini-Meru Tent(s)

Oddballs’ Enclave can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests, in five twin or double bedded mini-Meru tents, making it a classic and intimate camp. The tents are on elevated wooden decks, each with a semi-detached private bathroom with an al fresco bucket shower, and hot and cold running water.

Cultural interaction at an authentic baYei village

For guests staying a minimum of four nights, Oddballs’ Enclave also offers privately guided overnight camping trails by mokoro, for a minimum of two nights – although they recommend three or more to get the best out of this unique safari. The trails are amongst the most sought-after wilderness experiences in the world today, offering an opportunity to experience life in serenity and on its own terms in a way not easily achieved in the modern world.

Sango Safari Camp is nestled in the shade of the trees overlooking the Khwai River. Situated on the outskirts of the traditional village of Khwai and on the border of Moremi Game Reserve, the camp offers guests the perfect base from which to explore the wildlife and culture of this unique habitat. This intimate safari camp is named for the Sango Family, some of the original inhabitants of the Khwai area, and now part owners of the camp. Guests will have the chance to learn first hand about the unique lifestyle and experiences that come from living and growing up in one of the most wildlife rich areas of Botswana. Accommodating 12 guests in 6 en-suite meru tents Sango Safari Camp is designed in the style of the classic tented safari camp of days gone by. With its open-air bucket showers, hand crafted furnishings and classic styling Sango Safari Camp aims to rekindle the atmosphere of the luxury mobile safari camp, successfully blending the rustic with the luxurious. With the Khwai River forming a natural border between the world famous Moremi Game Reserve and Khwai Concession, animals can travel freely through this vast unfenced wilderness. Situated on the river overlooking the Moremi and with access to both these magnificent wildlife areas, Sango Safari Camp is focused on delivering an exceptional wildlife experience to our guests. Accommodating a maximum of 12 guests in six en-suite meru tents, Sango Safari Camp is designed in the style of the classic tented safari camp of days gone by. With its open-air showers, hand crafted furnishings and classic styling Sango Safari Camp aims to rekindle the atmosphere of the luxury mobile safari camp, successfully blending the rustic with the luxurious. Each tent has a unique view on the Khwai River, which forms a natural border between the Moremi Game Reserve and the Khwai Concession. While sitting on the veranda wildlife can be easily spotted. During the night the sounds of the Bush will carry you to sleep.

Located high on the edge of a rocky ridge overlooking the famous Chobe River is the newly developed Chobe Elephant Camp. This uniquely designed lodge has been built to take advantage of the incredible views overlooking the sweeping floodplains while offering a comfortable refuge from the harsh African conditions. Entirely built out of sandbags from the red Kalahari sands that dominate the northern part of Botswana, this eco-friendly lodge presents an original design reminiscent of traditional African farmsteads and can accommodate up to 24 guests in eleven chalets. All rooms are en-suite with both indoor and outdoor showers and have private verandas to fully enjoy the views and surroundings. The lodge also boasts a large open-plan main area featuring a cosy arrangement of couches, bar, dining area and reading corner, along with a swimming pool with viewing deck onto a private water hole.

An extra, third bed can be added on request.
