Each spacious bedroom features twin beds, a fold-out sleeper couch, space for suitcases, shelves, hanging space and an electronic safe. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and wash basin with vanity space.

Overlooking the Ugab River Valley, the Chalet includes two ¾ beds for two adults per chalet but for minor children we have additional arrangements.

16 spacy chalets with two ¾ beds. Chalets are constructed on the edge of the ridge on top of the terrace, each with its own shower (bathroom) and WC (toilet) area separate from each other. 9 chalets facing the east (sunrise) and 7 facing west (sunset). Each chalet has got its own veranda with a panoramic view overlooking the landscape of the historic UGAB VALLEY. A roof fan provide a bit of comfort in the hot summer nights and electricity are provided by battery power. Due to the battery power supply, no air conditioners nor any fridges in the chalets are installed. The use of hair driers are prohibited, but smaller electrical appliances (eg. cameras, cell phones, etc.) can be charged within the chalets.

Experience the waterworld of the Kavango on a romantic boat trip as the sun goes down; incl. refreshments and snacks.

Experience catching one of the strongest fighting fresh water fish in the world. 2 persons per boat, fishing licence can be obtained from the Lodge, but is not included in the rate. Fishing licences have to be ordered one day in advance (Monday to Friday) and cannot be obtained on weekends. Lost lures to be replaced at Lodge, drinks not included.

We will gladly submit a detailed offer for a tailor made excursion for the enthusiastic fishermen.

Join a guided fishing trip and catch species such as catfish, tilapia, nambwe and tigerfish. Boat and basic tackle & bait are included, drinks on own account. Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on the doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.
