With 538 sq ft (50 sq mt) of spaciousness dedicated to it, our Deluxe Rooms are considered the largest in the segment of rooms across all hotels in the city. You will be enamoured by the care we have taken with the décor, complementing it with perfection in the services rendered as well as the state-of-the-art amenities on offer.

Some features of the room are bathrooms with spa mood lighting and a deep-soaking tub, separate glass-walled shower, double vanity sink and WC in separate alcove, with 3 telephones, yoga mat and an anti-skid mat on request.

The Deluxe rooms are large with high ceilings, gleaming floors and polished windows and doors that characterize comfort and luxury of a very warm and intimate kind. The furniture is period in style, flawlessly crafted and made from the finest Burma teak. We have comfy beds and handcrafted cozy bed linen. The floors and walls are inlaid with the famous Aathangudy tiles that are handmade to this very day. All the rooms have a balcony overlooking the garden where you can have a quiet afternoon reading, you can even choose you to have your tea out here. There is also an attached bathroom with hot/cold water and necessary bathroom toiletries.

The Chettinad rooms are comfortable with high ceilings, gleaming floors and polished windows and doors. We have comfy beds and handcrafted cozy bed linen. The floors and walls are inlaid with the famous Aathangudy tiles that are handmade to this very day. Only some of these rooms have a small balcony overlooking the garden. There is also an attached bathroom with hot/cold water and necessary bathroom toiletries.

The Spice Garden Cottages come with a small little living area and a spacious bedroom with an attached bathroom. The Elephant Grass which has been used to thatch the roof keeps the temperature within the cottage, very comfortable all year round.

The cottages at Spice Village are inspired from the local dwellings and created from the locally available designs and materials. Elephant grass abundantly available at the Periyar Tiger Reserve is used as the roofing for these wooden cottages and it’s an interesting experience to observe the local craftsmen when they re-thatch the cottages. The Private Garden Villas have a cozy little living area and a private garden in front of the cottage.

There are 27 Heritage Bungalows with a private sit out and a partly open-to-sky bathroom. All these rooms are twin bedded. One cottage has specially been designed for those physically challenged; and is a wheel chair friendly room with no steps, railings in the bathroom etc.

There are  14 heritage mansions with an upper story (duplex room), a private sit out and a partly open-to-sky bathroom. 6 of these rooms are large bedded and 8 of them twin bedded.

There are 8 private pool villas which are all double. Each of these villas have a separate living room, a spacious bedroom, a passage, a private sit out, a closed bathroom and a much larger private pool.
