Dead Valley Lodge is located in the Namib-Naukluft Park near Sesriem, Namibia, set among the striking red dunes of Sossusvlei. The lodge is located in the famous Skeleton Coast Central Concession between the Hoarusib and Hoanib Rivers in the Skeleton Coast Park, only 45 km north of Möwe Bay. The lodge is situated on the southern bank of the Hoarusib River Mouth, nestled between the dunes with a view of the Atlantic
Ocean where the cold Benguela current pushes a refreshing breeze over the shipwreck-shaped cabins. The size of the concession area is approximately 146,600 hectares situated in North Western Namibia.
Parking and Pick-up point
Vehicles of self-drive guests are parked under cover at the pickup point situated at Möwe Bay. Fly-In guests will also be picked up at Möwe Bay. You will then be transferred the 45km north to the Shipwreck Lodge in a closed game drive vehicle.

Okahirongo Elephant Lodge is situated in the Puros Conservancy in Kaokoland, one of the last truly wild areas in the North West of Namibia and it features beautiful mountain landscapes and rugged tranquility. At Okahirongo Elephant Lodge twice-daily 4x4 drives into the extraordinary wilderness are likely to be the main focus, with expert Himba guides leading the search for desert-dwelling elephants, geological features known as“clay castles” and epic exploration of the ever-shifting dunes. Okahirongo Elephant Lodge is located in the Puros Conservancy, 55 km from the skeleton coast and around 200 km south of the Kunene River in the north of Namibia. Often described as one of the last true wilderness areas, the Kaokoveld is home to the nomadic Himba tribe. The lodge, in the Puros Conservancy area, is a no risk malaria destination and can be reached by 4x4 vehicles. Alternatively a 2 ½ hour flight from Windhoek in a small aircraft will take you to a landing strip, which is located approximately 5 minutes from the lodge.
