Built of thatch and timber, the lodge rises several levels, giving the impression of a vast open-plan tree house. Our rooms all have private balconies, most of which overlook a central waterhole, offering the opportunity to observe herds of buffalo, elephant and kudu, as the sun goes down, and hyenas later in the evening.

Dining

Dining options include the a la carte MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, the more casual Buffalo Bar and The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show. The Boma Café, set in a tranquil garden setting and located close to the Lokuthula Lodges, offers breakfast and light meals until 4.30pm.

Khulu Bush Camp | Eastern Hwange National Park

Khulu Bush Camp “Grandfather” is located on a private concession of 6,000 acres.
One of the many charms of this camp is that it offers guests luxurious and private accommodation accompanied with old world hospitality.

Khulu comprises of 6 bespoke, thatched, safari style suites built onto slightly elevated platforms. Each well-appointed room is designed in a modern and contemporary style but has minimal impact to the surroundings and environment.The units have an indoor and outdoor shower and balcony for game viewing. The camp currently has a total capacity of only 12 people. All rooms overlook an ancient riverbed, the waterhole in this riverbed is known to attract a variety of the greatest wildlife and birdlife in Hwange. Khulu’s main area provides a full bar which also commands view of the waterhole and has in stock a variety of local and imported beverages.There is a plunge pool as well as a fire pit for stargazing and night caps.The camp has borehole water throughout and an on site laundry service.

Chobe Safari Lodge | Kasane

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on the doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.

The close proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport and Kasane International Airport makes it easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Safari Lodge. The lodge has been recently renovated; matching a magical lodge experience to the spectacular game viewing.

Mapula Lodge | Ng12 Concession

Located just outside of Moremi Game Reserve, deep in the Okavango Delta, lies Mapula Lodge. Boasting 9 luxury chalets with unique and quirky locally handcrafted furnishings the atmosphere is natural and earthy.

The main area’s comfortable viewing deck, with soft inviting sofas, overlooks the hippo-filled lagoon. The cooling pool invites you to survey the beautiful tranquil vistas from a relaxed position.
Game viewing, in open vehicles, is particularly good in this area; the majestic riverine flora around the lodge is home to a huge variety of birds. Being in a permanent water area, Mapula Lodge’s water activities include poling mokoro’s peacefully through lily-filled channels. Walking safaris are offered with experienced guides; night drives offer a change of spotting the nocturnal species of the area. Hot air ballooning and scenic helicopter flights can be arranged at an additional cost.

Planet Baobab | Gweta

Situated close to the village of Gweta, 290 km from Francistown and 200 km from Maun, this family friendly camp accepts children of all ages. Planet Baobab combines style with comfort while remaining true to its African inspiration. Accommodation provides different options at all price levels. Traditionally styled, beautifully painted Kalanga Huts with en-suite bathrooms or the shady campsite are a couple of accommodation options available. The Africantastic ‘shebeen’ style central mess features a tasty bar menu, and when it heats up, cool off in the biggest coolest pool in the Kalahari. Activities on offer all year round include: guided bush walks; traditional cattle post and village visits; incredibly friendly habituated meerkats; expeditions to Nxai Pan. During the dry season (25th April to 31st October) activities include quad biking on the saltpans; a sleep out under the magnificent Makgadikgadi night sky. During the wet season (1st November to 24th April) visitors can witness the spectacular zebra and wildebeest migration experience.

Boteti River Camp | Xhumaga

Boteti River Camp is ideally located in the Makgadikgadi National Park. The camp is on the outskirts of Khumaga Village where guests can observe the local culture and discover the world's largest salt pan. Close by is the Nxai Pan National Park and Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The camp features five standard chalets and three family units, all en-suite and feature air-conditioning and mosquito nets. The camping ground includes eight campsites and three mini Meru tents, a shaded area, a water tap, an electricity socket, a fireplace, a bin, and shared ablutions. The lounge deck is ideal for viewing the surrounding landscape, spotting animals, and for relaxing. The swimming pool is the place to be on those hot sunny days. The dining area serves homely food and the bar offers refreshing drinks.
