I’m Charry — someone blessed with wanderlust in my soul. Born and raised in South Africa, my love for travel began early. Throughout my childhood, my father took us adventuring across Southern Africa, shaping my curiosity for wild places and diverse cultures.
In 2009, that spark became a calling. My husband and I spent two years exploring Africa in a four‑wheel‑drive vehicle, sleeping in a rooftop tent and living close to the land. We travelled 37,000 km (22,990 miles) through fifteen extraordinary countries, crossing swamps, savannas, and rainforests; navigating rivers and lakes; witnessing waterfalls and mountain ranges; and reaching both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Along the way, we encountered wildlife in its purest form and met remarkable people from countless cultures — experiences that deepened our respect for Africa’s diversity and beauty.
When we returned to South Africa, I knew I had to share this continent with the world. In 2011, I began crafting tailor‑made itineraries and travel packages for travellers from across the globe, introducing them to the magic, authenticity, and wonder that Africa offers. Today, every journey I design is shaped by those years on the road — by real experience, genuine connection, and a lifelong passion for helping others discover Africa the way it deserves to be felt.
