Itinerary Terms and Conditions
All provisional reservations and requests are held for 14 days only before we require a 20% non refundable deposit to confirm the reservation. Otherwise, the booking will expire and be released from our reservation system. Final payment is on the original invoice and must be received from Detour Africa Expeditions at least eight weeks prior to travel.
No guest may travel unless we have received full prepayment.
Group Travel
For groups, we offer group discounted rate and from 10 pax the tour guide is complementary for all indicated activities and meals in the itinerary .
Children
No children under the age of 7 allowed. For children under the age of 12, a private vehicle is required. Child rates (sharing with adults) include:
• 7 – 11 years: 50% of Adult RACK
• 12 years and above: 100% adult rack
Professional Photographers
Professional photographers we advice to book a private vehicle to have full control entire activities .
Our cancellation policies are as follows:
• 20% non-refundable deposit at time of confirmation.
• Cancellation within eight to four weeks prior to date of travel will incur a 50% fee of total cost of safari.
• Cancellation within four to two weeks prior to date of travel will incur a 75% fee of total cost of safari.
• Cancellation within two weeks prior to date of travel or less, as well as no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the safari, including handling fees and liquidated damages. If you test positive COVID prior your trip you are encouraged not to cancel rather postpose the trip till you are COVID free to travel.
