Welcome to the krugerparktravel.com website. This website and its pages are owned by Kruger Park Travel (PTY) Ltd. The website and its content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only, subject to the terms of use as set out below. These terms of use (this “Agreement”) set forth the terms and conditions governing your use of this website.
Pricing
Prices advertised on the krugerparktravel.com website are in South African Rands (R). These prices are an average base price and may vary from the actual price on the day of booking. Please note that prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Modifications to this Agreement
We may make changes to this Agreement from time to time at our sole discretion. As soon as this page is updated the changes become effective. Please review this Agreement periodically. Your continued use of our website following the change of this Agreement will constitute your acceptance of any such changes.
Your use of content and information (disclaimer)
A variety of information, advice, recommendations, letters, messages, comments, posts, text, graphics, software, music, sound, photographs, videos, data and other materials (“Content” or “content”) is available on the website. Some of the content is provided by us or our suppliers and other content is provided by persons who use our website (“User”, “user”, “Users” or “users”), such as user opinions and views provided via reviews, posts to chat rooms, blogs or message boards. We do not make any representations or warranties with respect to any content or privacy practices, or otherwise with respect to such third parties or any items or services that may be obtained from such third parties, and you agree that we will have no liability with respect to any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of any dealings between you and any third party, or as a result of the presence of such third parties on our website.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kruger Park Travel ( PTY) Ltd , its directors, officers, employees, owners, agents, and affiliates, from and against any and all liability, damages, losses, claims, expenses of any kind (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) directly or indirectly related to (1) your breach of the Agreement; or (2) the user content you submit, post, or transmit through the website.
Modification or suspension of our website
We may at any time modify, discontinue, or suspend the operation of our website, or any part thereof, temporarily or permanently, without notice to you for purposes of upgrades or third party maintenance.
Late arrivals
Please note that it does sometimes happen that your flight is delayed while in transit . As suppliers normally collect a number of people for the same safari departure, please be advised that if you flight is delayed, we are not willing to compromise the entire safari for other guests. In this instance we will do our best to either arrange a private transfer for you or suggest you spend an extra day before departing the following day on safari. Please note that a private transfer or additional day is for your own cost.
Luggage or personal belongings left behind
If you do perhaps leave luggage, a camera or something of value on one of the vehicles or at one of the lodges, where possible, we will assist in getting the found belongings returned to our head office in Johannesburg. It is your responsibility from there to arrange with a local freight or shipping company to collect the goods.
Changes effected beyond our control
We will be excused for circumstances beyond our control that are deemed to be forces of nature, such as activities or tours cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions or conditions deemed unsafe for participants.
In addition we further indemnify ourselves against but not limited to volcanic eruptions, riots, hurricanes, floods, tsunami’s, fires, civil unrest, kidnapping, air disasters, cruise or rail disasters or any other disaster deemed to be out of our control, natural or otherwise.
Changes to the Itinerary
Please note that the itinerary we provide you with is an intended itinerary and may vary due to logistical reasons. We will strive to provide every activity on the itinerary or where possible we will replace the activity with a suitable substitution.
Changes to accommodation
Should it be deemed necessary due to inclement weather conditions, fire hazard or any other forces of nature or circumstances beyond our control to move clients for their own safety from the establishment where they are staying or where they have booked with us, we reserve the right to do so with little or no notice period.
Onward Travel arrangements
If the arrangements are made for the same day the tour ends, krugerparktravel.com and Kruger Park Travel ( PTY) Ltd cannot be held responsible for any delays resulting in failure to meet those arrangements.
Specials
All specials, free nights and any discount offers are subject to payment being made in full when booking your safari, and are subject to change without prior notice.
Third Party Applications
Please note that all third party applications such as the currency converter or language converter should be used as an indication only. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the results.
Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be in writing, via fax or mail. All Accommodation, Tour and Safari Bookings have a 100% non-refundable deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total tour cost.
All cancellations received in writing and agreed upon between the client and Kruger Park Travel ( PTY) Ltd will receive the following refund:
55-49 days = 50 % refund of payment already made excluding non refundable deposit
48-42 days: = 25 % refund of payment already made excluding non refundable deposit
41 days or less: = 0 % refund of payment already made excluding non refundable deposit
Flight Cancellations
All flight bookings made by Kruger Park Travel (Pty) Ltd on behalf of clients are non refundable and do not form part of the normal cancellation policy. Once the flight e tickets have been issued to the client the amount paid for the tickets is non refundable.
Changes to the Itinerary made by the Client
If the client changes or amends the itinerary whilst on tour without consulting Kruger Park Travel (PTY) Ltd, then the client is liable for any additional costs that may apply. In addition if the client chooses to forfeit a safari drive or activity it will not be refunded or replaced with an alternative activity as all activities and drives form part of a tour package negotiated with suppliers and are paid for in advance. Any changes made will be for the clients own account and only possible if agreed to by the supplier. Please take others into consideration and remember that you form part of a pre arranged tour.
Alteration to tours
The company reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation or mode of transport should conditions necessitate such alteration.
Security
All partner guides carry cellular telephones and keep in touch with the office on a daily basis. They also have a reliable emergency back-up system in place.
Safety
All partner vehicles have operating licenses & public Liability. Drivers also have public driving permits.
Responsibility
Whilst Kruger Park Travel (PTY) Ltd , their employees, and/or agents will take every care against such contingencies, they cannot be held responsible for, and shall be exempt from any liability for any delay, loss, damage, illness or injury to any person and/or his/her luggage or personal property or alleged inferior accommodation.
Wild animals
Although attacks by wild animals are rare, guests are reminded that many of the animals and reptiles they will see are potentially dangerous. Kruger Park Travel ( PTY) Ltd, their contracted Tour Operators, selected private lodges and national parks cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused during an incident involving the behavior of wild animals.
Insurance
It is strongly recommended that passengers have adequate insurance against cancellation, loss of baggage, personal accident, medical expenses or the unfortunate misfortune of the company Kruger Park Travel ( PTY) Ltd being deemed insolvent before the safari departure occurs.
