Inspired Journeys was founded by a group of people whom believed in the beauty of a place, deep in the heart of Africa, known today as Virunga National Park in the DRC. Our 'Journey' was 'Inspired' by this majestic & wonderful land, its' people & it's inhabitants - as seen in the Netflix movie 'VIRUNGA'.
Making it possible for travellers to discover places that were either forgotten after trouble times or previously inaccessible, is what our philosophy is built upon. We believe in Africa, especially what we like to call 'Unconventional Africa', which are the blurry spots on the tourism map. It is our mission to continue to offer our guests experiences that are authentic & exciting, & whenever possible in a way that contributes to the communities & conservation of the areas they visit.
Itinerary Terms and Conditions
- This trip begins and ends in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo connecting with the in-seat charter flights on Mondays/Thursdays between Brazzaville and Mboko (Odzala Discovery Camps) (2 hours).
- Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days. A 20% non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure the booking.
- The balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival.
- If a reservation is made 1 – 45 days prior to the arrival date, full payment is due.
- For group bookings of 3 rooms or more, the full balance needs to be paid 60 days prior to arrival.
- Group Adventures/Hosted Discoveries departures from July - August require a 20% deposit within 25 days of a provisional booking to secure space.
- Extras must be settled in cash at camp. Central African Franc (XAF) and Euro accepted.
- Only XAF and EURO are accepted in Central African Republic. XAF and Euro are suggested for Republic of the
- Congo, other currencies are accepted at a premium (exchange bureau at Radisson Blu Hotel).
