The Safari Briefing
This journey through Kenya was designed for some guests who have travelled multiple times with us before in Southern Africa. This time, they wanted to venture further east so they could learn about the colourful culture of the Maasai, see some spectacular sceneries not to mention wildlife. We were asked for touches of luxury, safari surprises and the end product was apparently perfect and beyond their expectations. We incorporated Amboseli National Park for its views of Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds, Meru & Shaba, steeped in history, where Joy and George Adamson released Elsa the lioness back into the wilderness and of course the finale to their safari, world famous Masai Mara.

Thank you thank you! Once again an outstanding safari holiday tailored by Encompass Africa. Everything was perfect and how wonderful is Cotters 1920’s. The tents are lovely, and staff wonderful, and best Masai guides – Calvin & Louise Cottar were there for an early Christmas and had dinner with us one night, which was lovely. We saw so much and were amazed at Kenya's diverse landscapes, brilliant wildlife and beautiful people. We will return for sure.
