It's about having unique geology; prey and predator interactions; rare endemic flora and fauna revealed within some of the harshest and most fragile environments of the Namib desert.
We cover the Sossusvlei and Swakopmund leg in a relaxed and comfortable fashion before moving into the wild and remote northern Kaokoland area. We explore from two contrasting camps in Damaraland before heading deeper into the restricted Skeleton Coast then up the ephemeral Hoanib River valley to complete our exploration from Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp.
We use a combination of 5* lodging to fairly adventurous wild camping with an aircraft and expedition vehicle to cover a region rich in desert adapted species.
Simple add-ons to this 12 day safari reach further north to the Kunene River or east to a traditional haunt on the edge of Etosha National Park.
