The Safari Briefing
This outstanding journey was designed for a lovely family of three who had travelled with us previously to Southern Africa and their quest was to explore East Africa including gorillas and big game. In their briefing they were after a slow paced safari yet full of adventure and activities. Spending time with the gorillas, getting out of the vehicle and walking at Lake Manyara, visiting local villages and schools so they could truly get amongst it and the freedom to explore wherever the wildlife took them with a private safari in Tanzania's famous national parks. After the adventure, the family wanted to wash off the safari dust and soak up the sun in spice island paradise - Zanzibar.

Soooo many highlights! Of course our gorilla trek was amazing and a bucket list item now ticked off, seeing the migration in the Serengeti was a huge highlight, seeing the Ngorongoro Crater was a childhood dream come true, snorkelling and swimming with a pod of 19 dolphins off Mnemba island, having a serval come to the dinner table in Nabi Hill, standing on top of a kopje in the walking camp to watch the sunset, having a bull elephant visit our tent in the night at Endabash, Lake Manyara and seeing a leopard on a night drive there on a beautiful bright moonlit night was also fantastic! Hearing lions and hyenas in the night, seeing Kili from a distance and the huge numbers of elephants in Tarangire.. where does one stop. Thank you Encompass Africa once again, truly outstanding family safari holiday experience.
