This impressive panoramic 12-day journey between Victoria Falls and Pretoria stops at carefully selected locations in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa. Starting in the Victoria Falls, guests enjoy a walking tour of the village and the falls, departing in the afternoon for Hwange. After game-viewing activities, guests continue to Matobo National Park, site of Cecil John Rhodes’ grave, Antelope Park and the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. The train then traverses Zimbabwe as guests enjoy a day at leisure on board. Day seven includes a game drive at the famous wildlife reserve of Kapama before guests continue on to explore the Kingdom of Swaziland. This magnificent sojourn spends the last few days taking guests through the Drakensberg Mountains to the Kruger Park for game viewing and the historical areas of Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window. The final day has the train pulling into Rovos Rail Station where guests continue on a tour of Pretoria and Soweto. Available in reverse.
