Upon arrival in in Lusaka, you will need to go through immigration control, collected your luggage and go through customs. You will be met by a representative in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, who will assist you with your transit to the lite aircraft flight to Kalabo & game drive transfer to Matamanen.
Matamanene has been given a full facelift and has four comfortable tents with ensuite bathrooms situated in a woodland. Your days will begin early, after a continental breakfast you’ll head deep into the Park to önd blue wildebeest, zebra, red lechwe, eland and tsessebe. With your guide and scout, you have the opportunity to get out of the vehicle and explore the Plain on foot. You will also have the opportunity to track large carnivores with the Zambian Carnivore Program (ZCP), a non-proöt research team dedicated to conserving large carnivore species and the eco-systems in which they reside wwwww.zambiancarnivores.org . The team have a permanent base in Liuwa Plain and we have teamed up with them to offer guests the chance to track some of the large carnivore species which reside in Liuwa Plain and learn about the behavior of individual animals in the prides and packs

After your morning activity you will be transferred back to Mfuwe Airport for you flight to Royal Airstrip, here you will be met and transferred to Chongwe River Camp.
