Make your own way to Maun Airport in Botswana. Maun is a small town located on the edge of the Okavango Delta and the starting point for most safaris in northern Botswana. There are daily airline flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town to Maun. On arrival, clear Botswana customs & immigration. You will be met in the arrival hall and be assisted to a scheduled light air flight to Banoka Airstrip in the Khwai Private Reserve.
On arrival at the Banoka Airstrip, you will be met by a guide, for a game drive transfer to Hyena Pan.
Arrive in time for tea and an afternoon safari activity.

Hyena Pan camp overlooks a waterhole, which during the dry season (June to Oct), draws a constant stream of wildlife. You can sit on the balcony of your tent, or the pool and enjoy the parade of animals coming down to drink.

Guided walking safari are possible, and a visit to the underground waterhole hides is definitely recommended for close up experiences with elephants and other wildlife.

Morning and afternoon safari activity from Hyena Pan. The evening safari activity will end at the Skybeds, in time for sunset drinks and dinner under the stars.
The platforms are set back from a waterhole, and during the night there is constant wildlife activity. Elephant herds drink at night and many nocturnal animals are about.
