Assuming you will be arriving in the morning at Kilimanjaro International Airprot (JRO) you will be met by your driver/guide and his safari ready 4x4 Land Cruiser and be transferred through the Great Rift Valley to the Tarangire region. Arrive at Maramboi Tented Lodge in time to settle in and enjoy lunch.
Your days on safari can be spent as you wish and your driver/guides will discuss each day with you as you go along. The norm is an early wake up with coffee/tea around 6am to depart on a pre-breakfast game drive at about 630am. Being so close to the equator sunrise and sunset varies by an hour at most throughout the year, the temperature can also be comparatively cold in the early mornings and evenings, so it is a good idea to dress in layers when you go out on a drive as the middle of the day will be hot and dry.
After a sumptuous breakfast, the middle of the day is yours to do with as you please, many people go back to their tents and have a shower, perhaps read and take a nap before lunch or play board games in the main mess/lounge area of camp. After lunch you have a few hours to relax again before heading out around 330/4pm on an afternoon game drive – perhaps follow up on the pride of lion you saw in the morning, or head out to look for an elusive leopard or cheetah. After the game drive is time for a well-deserved pre-dinner drink around the camp fire and a chance to swap stories with other guests.

After breakfast you drive up the edge of the escarpment through the coffee fields of Karata and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving just in time for lunch at Bashay Rift Lodge.
Early on the morning of the second day you will descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a six hour game drive with a picnic lunch, returning to the Lodge for a well earned bath and most likely a nap!

Two nights' accommodation at Bashay Rift Lodge on full board basis (lunch, dinner and breakfast).
One 6 hour descent into Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch.

After an early breakfast at Bashay Rift Lodge embark on the drive to the southern Serengeti, where you will arrive at Ndutu Safari Lodge in time for lunch.
Spend your two days in the southern Serengeti exploring the area. At the right time of year (January - March) this is where the vast herds of the wildebeest migration can be found.
