On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will connect to an onward flight for Lake Manyara where you will be met at the airstrip by a representative of &Beyond who will transfer your group down the escarpment into Lake Manyara National Park. You are booked at &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge for two nights on a full board basis.
Your days can be spent as you wish and your driver/guides will discuss each day with you as you go along. The norm is an early wake up with coffee/tea around 6am to depart on a pre-breakfast game drive at about 630am. Being so close to the equator sunrise and sunset varies by an hour at most throughout the year, the temperature can also be comparatively cold in the early mornings and evenings, so it is a good idea to dress in layers when you go out on a drive as the middle of the day will be hot and dry.
After a sumptuous breakfast, the middle of the day is yours to do with as you please, many people go back to their tents and have a shower, perhaps read and take a nap before lunch or play board games in the main mess/lounge area of camp. After lunch you have a few hours to relax again before heading out around 330/4pm on an afternoon game drive – perhaps follow up on the pride of lion you saw in the morning, or head out to look for an elusive leopard or cheetah. After the game drive is time for a well-deserved pre-dinner drink around the camp fire and a chance to swap stories with other guests.

After a leisurely breakfast your driver/guide will transfer you through the rolling hills and coffee plantations of Karatu into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) to arrive on the edge of the crater rim and &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. You are booked for two nights at this truly most exquisite lodge.
On the second day of your stay here you will spend 6 hours (the maximum allowed) in the crater viewing the abundance of wildlife that includes large herds of resident wildebeest, the highly endangered black rhino, lions, nomadic cheetah, vast numbers of buffalo, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle before returning to the lodge for a well earned rest and dinner.
Road transfer from &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge to &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in a 4 x 4 Land Cruiser;

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Manyara airstrip for your flight to Serengeti National Park. The vast grasslands of the renowned Serengeti provide what many consider to be the quintessential African game viewing experience. The Serengeti is renowned for having the largest concentration of migratory animals in the world, and is also famous for its large lion population. Together with the adjacent Masai Mara they are best known for hosting the annual migration of wildebeest, during which almost two million animals move across the plains and woodlands.
You will stay at &Beyond Kleins Camp, for three nights on a package basis.
