Days 1 - 3: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

You will arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, where you will complete border formalities before meeting your driver in the arrivals hall. You will be met in time-honoured style with the ubiquitous welcome notice, and transferred to the lodge. On this first afternoon you could opt to add a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River at sunset, sipping delicious drinks as the sun goes down. Enjoy dinner at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant.

The price quoted is a standard room, however, you can upgrade to a waterhole facing room.

On your second day, you will then head out to see the magnificent Victoria Falls, with a guided tour that takes you through the rainforest and in to 'the smoke that thunders'. (Take a waterproof!) You will have to pay park entrance fees in cash as you enter the national park - this is currently US$30pp. You will travel back to the lodge in time for a Vulture Culture lunch. This spectacle includes a delicious lunch at Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, during which meat is placed out for the local vulture population. With many rare-breeds in the area, this is an important source of food for the vultures, and you will get to see them feeding while learning a little bit more about one of the most important animals in the African ecosystem. You will have some free time this afternoon, returning to Makuwa-Kuwa for dinner from the table d'hout menu. The next day is completely open, and we have a full menu of activities available to choose from. You'll be able to enjoy another Vulture Culture lunch, and in the evening enjoy a dinner at The Boma Restaurant with a fun drumming display.

Expert tips

Your third day in Victoria Falls is left free for your choice of activities. Victoria Falls is the adventure capital of Africa, and along with your pick of adrenaline filled experiences, there is also a market in the town, a golf course, high tea at the Victoria Falls Hotel, and a myriad of other memories to be made. Lunch is another Vulture Culture experience and your final dinner will be at the Boma, an African place of eating that as well as gourmet food, includes traditional dancing and other entertainment. Your transfers to and from the venue are included.
