Day 1: Okonjima Nature Reserve

Make your way to OR Tambo International Airport to check in by 07h30 for your flight to Windhoek on SA 74 departing at 09h30. On arrival clear Namibian immigration and customs formalities and make your way to the arrivals hall to meet our representative who will assist you with the collection of your rental vehicle.

From here drive to Okonjima Reserve. Your stay will include a visit to the Afri Cat foundation.

Days 2 - 4: Etosha East

Depart the lodge and head to Mushara Lodge located on the eastern side of the Etosha National Park. Here the dense stands of Mopane forests support a large variety of antelopes and predators such as leopards, while it offers a variety of migratory as well as non-migratory bird species safe cover and nesting sites. With a bit of luck you will also be able to spot some lions. In the late afternoon you exit the park through the eastern gate and return to the lodge.

Etosha Pan

Day 5: Etosha South

Travel through the park while on a full day's game viewing trip. In the evening exit the park at the Andersson Gate and travel to Mopane Village Lodge where you will spend the night. Perhaps spend some time at Okaukuejo at the waterhole before leaving the reserve.

Mopane Village Lodge is 14 kilometres outside the gate on the left en route to Outjo.

Days 6 - 7: Grootberg

Travel down through Outjo and then north west via Kamanjab to Palmwag as you travel to Etendeka.

This area is unique with extraordinary flat topped mountains and "fields" of rocks. The wildlife has adapted very well to the harsh conditions and the game viewing while here can be surprisingly good. You might find plains game, elephant and lions.

Day 8: Twyfelfontein

Leave Etendeka after a last game activity and breakfast and travel down to Mowani Mountain Camp.

En route you might want to visit the Petrified Forest as well as Twyfelfontein and perhaps the Organ Pipes.

Drive time: +- 1h40 minutes excluding any stopping for sightseeing

Days 9 - 10: Missing Point

Have the morning to relax and explore the area further and then depart for Erongo, travelling via Uis.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

This morning make your way back to Windhoek Airport via WIlhelmstal and Okahandia. You need to check in at 13h00 for your flight to Johannesburg on SA 77 departing at 15h00. Please depart by 09h00 to allow for any delays en route.
