Days 1 - 3: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

The flight from Maun is usually timed to suit the International flights that come from Johannesburg or Cape Town and gets you into camp in time for an afternoon activity. This huge area of Kalahari bush is an amazing place that works really well during the wet season and attracts volumes of Oryx and Springbok, with the animals that hunt them. A highlight here is looking for the renowned black maned lions of the kalahari, and the cheetah population is also very solid here as well. Bat Eared foxes are also a commonly seen predator as well in this area.

Days 4 - 5: Nxai Pan National Park

This is another area that comes to life during the wet season and attracts big numbers of zebra out of the Chobe - Moremi areas of Botswana. This of course brings with it increased lion, leopard and cheetah activity as this moving mass of animals comes within their ranges and territories. Watching the big elephant bulls coating themselves with the white limey mud from this area is a fun thing to watch as well.

Days 6 - 8: Private Kwara Reserve

This is a new camp within the Kwara concession area and borders right on the edge of the Moremi National Park. This concession area is well known for its excellent predator sighting records and seeing the big cats in the rich green grass of the Delta at this time of year is always the best. Wild dog sightings in this concession are also a highlight. While you are here you will be able to do Game Drives, Nights Drives, Mokoro rides and Game viewing boat cruises.

Day 9: End of Itinerary
