Victoria Falls and Botswana

Flying into Livingstone Airport you will arrive at Waterberry Zambezi Lodge around midday. There's time for an afternoon of relaxation before setting sail on an fabulous sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. The cruise is exclusive and private with excellent birding, wildlife and scenery viewed from the boat. The Lodge is upstream from the Victoria Falls so avoids all the cruise boats that operate closer to the Falls.

This wonderful fully inclusive package includes 1 in house activity per day, all meals, accommodation, laundry, local drinks including tea/coffee and snacks.

Victoria Falls is the adventure capital of Africa. Early morning transfer to Kazangula, the border crossing between Botswana and Zambia. It's a short boat trip to the other side of the river where you'll be met by your driver from Muchenje Safari Lodge for a 20 min. transfer. On arrival at the Lodge you can choose the mid-morning game drive or relax and admire the incredible view, either way there's another game drive after lunch.

You can be busy as you like today! Join an early morning walk at first light or morning and afternoon game drives then watch the sun setting over the amazing landscape (sunset drink in hand at this point)!

Enjoy another day of activities or perhaps whole day game drive with a bush picnic lunch.

Today is the beginning of your Okavango Delta adventure! Taking off in the morning with a scenic flight from Kasane Airport to Motswiri Camp (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes) you're then just a 10 minute drive away from the camp so you arrive in time for your first days activities.

Choose from the many activities on offer at Motswiri Camp including walks, game drives and canoeing. If you're an experienced horse rider, you are in one of the best places in Africa for a horse ride in the African bush.

Your last day on safari so you may prefer to relax a little in camp before flying back home the next day - on then other hand you could take advantage of the Mokoro trips, walking, game vehicle drives or motor boat cruises - it's up to you!

Connect to a 45 minute air charter to Maun (at a time pre-arranged the evening before). The flight offers the most stunning views over the Okavango Delta.

Your itinerary finishes at Maun where you can connect with SAA or Air Botswana to Johannesburg Airport. We will include the Maun to Johannesburg flight as an optional extra.

We recommend, if time permits, extending your stay in Botswana and visiting the Central Kalahari Game Reserve or the Nxai Pan National Park which is an easy add on.
