This delightful comfortable camp lies alongside the Maunachira River which flows through the Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s prime game viewing regions. Here you'll experience unhindered views in specially-designed safari vehicles.

Moremi Game Reserve is rich in wildlife with consistent year-round game viewing, a great destination for first time visitors to Botswana. Guests can also explore the Okavango Delta waterways by motorboat, and the areas open lagoons and winding channels make it a birder’s paradise, complete with herons and storks in the breeding season.

Okuti has five twin-bedded units, each with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor shower, hot and cold running water and flush toilet. There are also a couple of 2 bedroom family units – ideal for families. Okuti’s spacious curved ‘tents’ are located on raised teak decks with river views.

Tips

Days 3 - 4: Okavango Delta

Fly into the heart of Okavango Delta to continue your safari experience at Kanana, a hidden jewel set on the Xudum River in the southwest Okavango Delta. The area encompasses a necklace of islands dotted with palms, figs, ebony and knobthorn trees, and is home to a myriad of birds, plants and animals.

Activities vary depending on the water levels of the Okavango Delta but include morning and late afternoon game drives. Explore crystal clear waterways by Mokoro or motorboat with its magnificent bird life and plant and reptile species. Kanana hosts a seasonal heronry that is one of the largest in Southern Africa. We recommend joining the guided bush walks and try your hand at fishing for tilapia, African pike and sharptooth catfish.

Kanana has just eight spacious, twin-bedded safari tents with en-suite bathrooms with shower, hot and cold running water and flush toilet. Tents offer privacy whilst remaining within comfortable distance from the main camp area.

Day 5: End of Itinerary

Bid farewell to the Moremi and continue your journey. Want to extend your trip? Please ask your Zambezi consultant about your options.
