On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) you will be met by your private driver/guide with his safari equipped 4x4 Land Cruiser and transfer by road to Tarangire. This four hour drive will take you through the town of Arusha and across the floor of the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at Maweninga Camp just in time for lunch and spend the next two days exploring Tarangire National Park.
Your days on safari can be spent as you wish and your driver/guide will discuss each day with you as you go along. The norm is an early wake up with coffee/tea around 6am to depart on a pre-breakfast game drive at about 630am. Being so close to the equator sunrise and sunset varies by an hour at most throughout the year, the temperature can also be comparatively cold in the early mornings and evenings, so it is a good idea to dress in layers when you go out on a drive as the middle of the day will be hot and dry.
After a sumptuous breakfast, the middle of the day is yours to do with as you please, many people go back to their tents and have a shower, perhaps read and take a nap before lunch or play board games in the main mess/lounge area of camp. After lunch you have a few hours to relax again before heading out around 330/4pm on an afternoon game drive – perhaps follow up on the pride of lion you saw in the morning, or head out to look for an elusive leopard or cheetah. After the game drive is time for a well-deserved pre-dinner drink around the camp fire and a chance to swap stories with other guests.

After a last breakfast in camp, you will head up the edge of the escarpment of the Rift Valley into the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area and the coffee fields of Karatu. transferred to Ngorongoro for your two nights stay at The Plantation Lodge. You will arrive in time for lunch and the afternoon can be spent relaxing around the pool, or exploring the gardens.
Early on the morning of the second day you will descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a six hour game drive, returning to the Lodge for a well earned bath and most likely a nap!
Transfer from Maweninga Camp to Plantation Lodge in a 4 x 4 safari equipped Land Cruiser with an English speaking professional guide.
Two nights' accommodation at The Plantation Lodge on full board basis (lunch, dinner and breakfast).
One 6 hour descent into Ngorongoro Crater.

In the morning after an early breakfast you will drive from Karatu over the escarpment of Ngorongoro Crater and down into the vast plains of the Serengeti, arriving at Kubu Kubu Tented Camp just in time for lunch.
Spend the next two days exploring the vast savannah of the Serengeti on game drives.
Transfer from Karatu to the central Serengeti in a 4 x 4 safari equipped Land Cruiser with an English speaking professional guide.
Two nights' accommodation at Kubu Kubu Tented Camp on fully Inclusive basis (lunch, dinner and breakfast);
Mineral water, tea and coffee;
Happy hour / sundowner cocktail and finger food from 6 to 7 pm.
