Sun Karros Daan Viljoen is a private lodge is a stylish yet relaxed location inside the National Daan Viljoen Game Park located 20km west of Windhoek. The 4000 ha park is surrounded by the rugged hills of the Khomas Hochland. A healthy population of plains game such as giraffe, kudu, zebra, eland, wildebeest, springbok, warthog, baboon and mongoose and over 280 recorded bird species. The park and lodge are accessible by sedan. The lodge facilities include Chalets, campsites, resturant and pool with garden area, modern conference venues and small reader lounge and kiosk. Guests are accommodated in 19 contemporary African chalets. Each unit consists of a a bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower and private patio. The inroom facilities include climate control, roof fan, satellite TV, small under counter frige, coffee and tea station, small safe and writer table. Chalets can be done in a twin or double bed configuration with two units that are slightly large in size to accommodate families with children on sleeper couches/stretcher or camper cot. There is open air parking near each cluster of chalets. Ideally located next to the Augeigas river, the overnight camping facilities offer campers 12 different camping sites to choose from, with facilities that include a barbeque, electricity, washbasin and outdoor lighting for each site. Campers can also make use of the luxurious shower and ablution facilities. Other features of the Sun Karros Lodge include the Boma Restaurant serving daily meals, from appetizing appetizers, to succulent steaks, pleasant pasta to the decadent desserts; the 20 m pool; and venue space to host conferences or weddings.

Situated about 260 km south of Windhoek, the Hardap Resort encompasses Namibia’s largest dam, Hardap, which is on the Fish River. Although first investigations were carried as early as 1897, construction commenced in 1960 and the dam was completed in 1963. It has a capacity of 320 million m3 and a surface area of 25 km2. Onjala Lodge is situated only 75 km from Windhoek and 45 km from Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport and is easily accessible by small car. Set against a mountainside, Onjala affords spectacular views of views of the valley below, where resident game roam the 1700 ha private nature reserve. Perched on the mountaintop is a second pool and viewing platform, affording panorama views and spectacular sunsets. After nightfall the star-studded sky can be explored with a good quality, stationary telescope.
Built in an unconventional architectural style, rough natural stone of the area was used to blend unobtrusively with its backdrop.
