Namibia Wildlife Resorts launched the first lodge in the Namib-Naukluft Park, the Sossus Dune Lodge, in June 2007. Built in an environmentally sensitive manner, primarily from wood, canvas and thatch, in an attractive 'afro-village' style, Sossus Dune Lodge offers guests an evocative and life changing experience. Situated within the park, guests benefit from being able to reach Sossusvlei before sunrise, and stay until after sunset, and on their return after an exhilarating day, relax in the tranquillity and splendor of the Namib Desert, under the spectacular African sky. Situated in the town centre, a mere five-minute walk from the beach and main shopping area, Swakopmund Guesthouse is owned and run by the Borg family. We provide excellent ambiance and service for guests wanting to indulge in a comfortable stay-over close to the ocean. The guesthouse offers five standard rooms, six luxury rooms, and three suites. We are a bed & breakfast facility, offering more than just the usual by providing guests with a scrumptious breakfast buffet, catering for the more upmarket traveller, with facilities ranging from laundry services to “anything else that guests might ask for". This includes a shuttle service and wheelchair-friendly accommodation. The Swakopmund Guesthouse is run with an eco-friendly approach, making use of solar energy. We are an owner-run property, with top management being close by at all times making sure the service level is at its best throughout your stay.

All standard rooms have an en-suite bathroom with under tile heating and aircons. All rooms come complete with minibar, television and a coffee station. All our rooms are equipped with 3-point, Euro and USB-plugs.

Our luxury rooms are more spacious than the standard rooms, allowing more comfort for our guests. Most of our luxury rooms can be converted into family rooms, sleeping 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 13 years. All rooms come complete with minibar, television and a coffee station. All our rooms are equipped with 3-point, Euro and USB-plugs.

Our family suite has two proper bedrooms, a small kitchen and a big lounge – ideal for 4-5 pax (three children) and longer stays.

From the guesthouse, guests can take a 15-minute walk along the beach to reach our private beach breakfast setup. Enjoy the Atlantic Ocean while sitting on a small dune having breakfast. Afterwards take a leisurely walk back to the guesthouse.

Camp Kipwe is an intimate and remote bush lodge located in Namibia's arid yet starkly beautiful Twyfelfontein region, home to many ancient Bushman etchings.

The 9 specially-designed bungalows are unique, air conditioned and round in shape, complete with a an open-air bathroom and spectacular views from your verandah over the surrounding area.
The Kipwe Suite is a thatched suite with a lounge equipped with air-conditioning, a satellite television, a double room with en-suite bathroom, laundry service and a mini-bar.
The two Luxury Suites are elevated atop the kopje and benefit from sweeping views across either east or west across the landscape. Complete with lounge, bedroom, and ensuite bathroom before spilling out on a large deck with heated splash pool, sala and sunbeds.

Camp Kipwe offers guided nature walks around the Twyfelfontein Conservancy, as well as trips to see the Bushman etchings, the mysterious Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain. For a very special experience, an Elephant Nature Drive is a must-do; explore the terrain in search of these elusive desert-dwelling elephants who have adapted to the dry and sandy conditions of northern Namibia.

Bungalows Kipwe Suite Luxury Suites

The twin-bedded bungalows are in the shape of rondavels and have boulder, cement and rock walls ensuring that on entry, feel like a cool secluded cave with outside decks to admire the view. The en-suite, private bathrooms are built amongst the rocks, allowing guests to take advantage of the outdoor weather. Hot water is supplied by wood-burning ‘donkey’ boilers and solar geysers.

The Kipwe Suite is an air-conditioned, luxury elevated thatched suite that has a private lounge equipped with a satellite television and minibar with drinks included. The large double room with king-size bed opens up onto an en-suite open air bathroom with a beautiful bath area.

The Luxury Suites sit atop of the rocky outcrop and feature a large lounge with separate air-conditioned bedroom, and en-suite bathroom before spilling out on to a large deck with spectacular, uninterrupted views across the Damaraland landscape. Equipped with Wi-Fi, a stocked minibar, heated splash pool and private salas to soak up the vistas.

Guided Nature Drive Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes Excursion Special Sundowners

Explore this ancient and arid landscape with your guide on the Nature Drive. Departing early in the morning, the guide will show you that this harsh, dry environment is alive with desert-adapted flora and fauna, and perhaps, if lucky, discover the desert-adapted elephant.

Usually departs at 06h30 and will go out for +/- 4 – 6 hours.

Departing mid-afternoon your guide will take you to explore this diverse landscape of ancient Damaraland, filled with geological wonders and other surprises.

Learn about the fascinating geological formations of Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes, and discover Namibia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Twyfelfontein - known for being one of the largest and oldest collections of San rock art engravings in the world!

Usually departs at 15h00 and will last for +/-2 hours. along with seeing Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes.

Walk up to the sundowner location and make yourself comfortable. Order your drink of choice, or choose from one of our famous cocktails or mocktails and delight in sumptuous snacks.

Safarihoek Lodge is located on Etosha Heights Private Game Reserve and is part of a 60,000ha reserve which shares borders, for about 65kms, with Etosha National Park. It consists of 9 farms that were originally used for domestic farming. Over a period of time, acquired and combined to create a stunning wildlife reserve that they are now privileged to be part of.

With an array of animals which include various species of antelope, predators, birds as well as others. Guests can be assured their time spent at Safarihoek Lodge will make for an interesting and memorable safari.

Game Drives Night Drives (on request) Guided Walks Photographic Hide Bush meals and picnics can be arranged with prior notice.

Morning and afternoon game drives on the reserve are offered and can be booked beforehand or as the need arises while at the lodge. A 2-3-hour drive that gives you the opportunity to see anything from a wide variety of plains game or if you are lucky a run in with the occasional predator. Refreshments are included.

After an early dinner and depending on the weather we also offer night drives on the reserve. Different from day game drives by that you stand a chance to see some of the nocturnal species that roam our reserve. We look for all of them, from bugs to birds and maybe something bigger.

Guided walks are offered to the more adventurous. A short drive out, and then the fun starts as you experience a whole new way of finding and viewing animals. Be sure to follow every instruction your guide gives you and you will have a great time. Children aged 12 years and over may take part in a walking safari.

Keen on birding? We offer you the opportunity to spend some time in our hide, especially build for photography enthusiast or if you just want to go through the different species. Other than that we could take you on a short walk or to some of the other nearby waterholes.

Enjoy a lovely meal away from the lodge in the bush or hide. Weather permitting.

One can choose to enjoy the mingling of wildlife on the plains below from the inside or outside bar. Large wooden 'Verandahs' adjoin the restaurant, lounge, bar, pool and outside 'Boma' area.

On the lower level guests can indulge in a wide array of wines in the wine lounge while admiring the beautiful outlook over the savannah below.
