Thamalakane River Lodge is ideally located an easy 20-minute drive from Maun Airport en route to the famous Moremi Game Reserve. It is a secluded haven of tranquility nestled in a grove of mature riverine trees on the bank of the Thamalakane River. The rambling lodge has an idyllic setting and is committed to service excellence.
Character en-suite stone chalets, are positioned in the shade of the riverine forest, overlooking the river. All chalets and common areas have terraces that take advantage of the serene 180 degree view of the riverbanks lined with fluttering reeds visited by an ever changing array of water fowl and birds.
It is a delightful place to come home to after a day spent exploring.

A few miles outside Shakawe, in north-western Botswana, on the tranquil banks of the Okavango River, you will discover Xaro Lodge, a 24-bed Luxury Meru-Tented Lodge. Nestling amongst giant Mangosteen trees and accessible only by boat, the lodge is home to a myriad of birds. The distinctive cry of the African Fish Eagle, White Backed Night Heron and the illusive Pel’s Fishing Owl make this tropical paradise a must for bird lovers.
This area is an excellent way to discover the cultural side of Botswana, in particular the hills of Tsodilo, also known as the “Mountain of Gods”. Rich of cultural experiences and offerings, Tsodilo takes you through the history of Botswana from thousands of years ago.

Xobega Island Camp is a piece of paradise in the great water wonderland that is the Okavango Delta. Just off the mainland of Moremi Game Reserve, Xobega (or Gcobega) Island is ideally located and easily accessible for self-drivers coming from Mankwe Bush Lodge, and what it offers can’t be beaten.
A bird-lover’s paradise, and an adventurer’s dream, Xobega has 10 light Mery-style canvas tents equipped with twin stretcher beds and en suite, open-air bathrooms. Everything about this camp is eco-friendly, from the solar-power, to bucket showers, and chemical toilets.
Guests arrive at the tree-filled island via boat and are welcomed to this simple safari. Hippos rule the waters around the island, lions are heard across the water, and a Pel’s fishing owl takes up residence in the trees.
It is important to note that Xobega Island is only accessible in a 4x4 vehicle and the driver should have some 4x4 experience. The Moremi Game Reserve roads can be challenging with varying amounts of thick sand, as well as deep pools of water during the rainy season.

The lodge also has 2 luxury family-size tented rooms that sleep four and are suitable for two adults and two children.

Kubu Lodge is a small, privately owned and run lodge ideally located on Botswana’s Chobe River banks. The accommodation comprises elevated thatched chalets which are comfortable and well decorated, fitted with ceiling fans, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryers and private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy dining in the onsite restaurant, which serves a delightful fusion of traditional African cuisine with a European flair with the bar and adjoining cocktail deck the ideal place to sip cocktails and marvel at the setting sun.
