Elephant Bush Camp | Nata

Sheltered on the boundary of the beautiful Okavango Delta you will find Elephant Bush Camp. Africas graceful grey giants often visit our camp as they gently glide their way across the Botswana bushveldt. They make no claims at being luxurious, just simple, peaceful, comfortable and affordable for those wanting a taste of the Okavango and the African bush.

You will find 12 simple, yet agreeably appointed tents, seasonally positioned on the banks of a large lagoon. Experience traditional safari service as you relax in the classic mess area and enjoy being poled peacefully in a mokoro or take a guided walk in the surrounding forests and grasslands. The tents are shared, with two single beds and a en-suite bathroom, with bush toilet and bucket shower. Hot water is delivered to your shower on request. Elephant Bush Camp strives to be as eco-friendly as possible with solar lighting and solar fridge.

Meals are served in the dining mess tent for all guests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served buffet style. Tea and coffee is available throughout the day. Bottled water is included in your visit and a simple bar is available in the mess for purchasing of spirits, beers or soft drinks. Evenings are a truly African pleasure, a warming fire and evocative songs and stories from the bush supplied by the camp staff. Access to Elephant Bush Camp is only via their 4x4 vehicles, boat or mokoro or if you wish, they can arrange an exciting helicopter flight to and/or from the camp.
