1. All rates are subject to change without prior warning.  
2. Any increases in bed levies, park fees, fuel, sales tax or VAT, third-party services, currency fluctuations or any other circumstances are beyond our control.
3. All services are subject to availability at time of booking/confirmation.

CHANGES TO A BOOKING: 

1. Fares and prices are subject to currency fluctuations until written confirmation and deposit payment has been received.
2. Once flight or itinerary payments have been made, change and refund penalties will apply.
3. Changes to a booking 2 weeks prior to travel will incur the following transaction charges: 
   • R250.00 for domestic accommodation changes 
   • R500.00 for any regional changes.
   • R850.00 for international changes.
4. Airline costs for changes are depends on availability at the time of the change.
5. Airline cancellation fee, whether it is non-refundable or if refundable the cancellation fee applies to that specific fare / package price.

CANCELLATIONS: 

1. Cancellation fees are levied when guests cancel confirmed reservations. The costs of the cancellation fees will escalate the closer the guest/s cancels to their confirmed departure date. 
   • Our penalties escalate from forfeiting the deposit to payment in full as follows:
     • Cancellation made more than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to the start of the programme booked, the non-refundable deposit is forfeited.
     • Cancellation made between 8 weeks (55 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) prior to departure, the deposit plus 25% of the price is forfeited.
     • Cancellation made between 4 weeks (27 days) and 3 weeks (21 days) prior to departure, 50% of the price is forfeited.
     • Cancellation made between 3 weeks (21 days) and 2 weeks (14 days) prior to departure, 75% of the price is forfeited.
     • Cancellation made between 13 days up to and including the day of departure, then 100% of the price is forfeited.
2. Where a deposit has been paid and the reservation is subsequently cancelled due to a failure to pay the balance outstanding, the deposit paid will be forfeited.
3. In the event that you cancel a reservation for any reason, such cancellation must be made in writing. Cancellation will only be effective upon written acknowledgement by SafariScapes & Aviation of the receipt of the notification of cancellation. 
4. Should a guest fail to arrive or any cancellations are made after the departure date, SafariScapes & Aviation will be entitled to treat the reservation as cancelled without giving notice and 100% of the tour price as a cancellation fee will apply (including repatriation and any administrative fees incurred as a result of such cancellation, including but not limited to cancellations due to ill health or injury).
