WILDLIFE
African safaris always entail a degree of risk. We advise you to always consult your guide or the properties management before undertaking any activity that may bring you into an area populated by wildlife.
Most safaris will take guests into close contact with wildlife, however attacks are very rare, but safari can guarantee that this will not occur.
Neither Wilderness Bookings, nor its employees, nor its agents can be held responsible for an injury or incident on your safari.

PASSPORTS & VISAS
These are YOUR responsibility
Passports must have a validity of at least SIX MONTHS longer than your stay. Visas are required for Foreign Passport holders for Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda. They can be purchased on arrival into each country, but please note entry into Rwanda must be pre-registered online prior to arrival.
Visa fees are payable in US DOLLARS cash only.

ROAD TRAVEL
Roads in the bush are rough and bumpy, we occasionally travel “off road” and injuries can occur. Wilderness Bookings, their staff members, associates or agents cannot be held liable for any accidents or any damages! Most places booked for travel are in wild and remote parts of Africa with dangerous wildlife and often harsh terrain; hence you will be exposed to potentially hazardous activities. Wilderness Bookings, its associates, partners and staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss of life or damage whatsoever during and after the travel arrangements.

AIR TRAVEL
Baggage on air transfers is restricted to a maximum of 15kg per person in a soft bag (including camera equipment and carry on baggage) unless special arrangements can be made, at an extra cost. Excess luggage not pre-booked can result in additional extra costs to the guests and delays in getting the bags on site.

PARK FEES
National Parks and Conservation Fees may be subject to change and Wilderness Bookings cannot be held liable for unexpected changes to Park Fees, and Government Tariffs.

HEALTH
Vaccinations against YELLOW FEVER are compulsory in some countries in East Africa, specifically Tanzania & Uganda.
It is also highly recommended that you take anti-malaria medication.
Please consult your GP or Travel Doctor for up-to-date medical information on the countries you are visiting.

INSURANCE
Wilderness Bookings will not accept responsibility for loss of deposit/full payment, loss or damage to baggage, personal illness or injury, medical expenses, cancellation or curtailment of your trip etc. It is therefore strongly recommended that a comprehensive policy be taken out by the time of the safari.

NOTE: WE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU GET YOUR OWN TRAVEL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE BEFORECOMING ON SAFARI (Some properties will not accept guests unless they have travel and medical insurance).

Whilst we are committed in ensuring that your travel arrangements remain according to plan, Wilderness Bookings and its partners and associates may alter, cancel or change travel arrangements at anytime without your approval or notice should they feel it justified in the interest of safety, enjoyment and practical purposes for any of its guests or clients.
It is assumed that the deposit payment and your final amount paid is because you have agreed to the terms and conditions set out by Wilderness Bookings, its associates and related companies and partners and thereby will not hold liable any claim against any person or organization as a result of any changes, cancellations, damage to one’s property, injury, death and any other unforeseen occurrences whether it is due to negligence by one or more of our staff or any company. Therefore, you have indemnified the various organizations and individuals aforementioned in any such events.
DEPARTURE TAX
Departure taxes are NOT included in package costs.

SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING PRICES
Much care has gone into the composition of itineraries and costing for this brochure, however circumstances such as devaluation or fuel surcharges may necessitate change in cost and itineraries. Should this occur you will be notified as soon as possible. Not withstanding that deposits or complete payments may have been made, any increases up until the date of departure of arrangements resulting from the above are to be paid by the purchaser/passenger. If such increases are unacceptable, the passenger may cancel his/her booking, though, in so doing, he/she is still liable to pay any cancellation charges imposed in the way of cancellation, administration, communication charges, etc. While every effort has been made to ensure prices are accurate, Wilderness Bookings cannot be held responsible for any changes. Rates are subject to change.
