Xobega Island Camp
Daily boat cruises take place in the morning and afternoon around sunset. Xobega Island is surrounded by Delta channels and lagoons where hippo, elephant, crocodile, and a host of bird and wildlife species can be found. Morning cruises depart after breakfast and return in time for lunch, and sunset boat cruises depart just in time to enjoy the last colourful light of the day and toast the sunset with a refreshment served on the water.
Mokoro excursions are offered at Mboma boat station, which is on Moremi mainland where your Xobega Island guide will meet you and take you on a 45-minute boat cruise through the Delta to the island itself. If guests would like to enjoy a mokoro safari before departing the boat station, that is entirely possible as there are pollers available to conduct a mokoro safari. This is one of the classic Okavango Delta experience, and one certainly not to miss.
