Opened to our guests only, our restaurant is proud to offer a varied cuisine, based on fresh local products - and whenever possible products coming from our vegetable garden - and tainted of French, Italian, Thai and Mozambican flavours.
Our breakfasts (included in the rates) are one of our guests favourites.
Every morning, an array of home made breads, croissants, brioches, sweet or savoury muffins and scones is prepared for you. They are accompanied by home made jams like passion fruit, papaya, baobab, sweet potatoes.. a different way to explore and taste Mozambican fruits. Home made muesli, yogurt, cheeses, hams, french crèpes and of course, every kind of eggs are available.
For dinner, we work on a 3 courses meal, different every day, based on what is available and on our guests requirements. Vegetarians, gluten free, dairy free and vegans will always be accommodated.
Dinner has to be ordered in advance, by 2pm.
Amongst our favourite recipes are a prawns risotto, a ceviche marinated in a tangy papaya sauce, carb makis, fish fillets in foil with a coconut and lemon sauce, beef filelt marinated in herbs and roasted, prawns kebabs on lemongrass. Our desserts are clearly influenced by our French and Italian origins with Crème Brulée, Baba au Rum, Chocolate Semifreddo, Passion Fruit parfait and many other delicacies.
Of course, a varied wine list, comprised of South Arican, Portuguese and Italian wines helps for a perfect dining match.
