Sweet and savoury dishes, featuring fresh, local ingredients are served to satisfy the palate. And every night, you'll be shuttled off to your hotel, ready for the next leg of your journey in the morning.

Wildlife

On your journey you could come across any number of magnificent creatures.

Grab a pair of binoculars and take a closer look. You might just see eagles gracefully soaring above. Or a black bear lumbering in a canyon below. Or salmon swimming upstream to spawn. We admit, you’ll need to have those binoculars on a ridiculously high setting for that last one––but outside our windows there is truly a world of wonders.

Iconic, Cosmopolitan & Quaint Destinations

No matter which destination you choose, each offers intriguing sightseeing and activities - and everyone is unique in their own way. The metropolises of Vancouver, Calgary and even Seattle offer downtown nightlife and interesting city tours. Incredible scenic and historic tours show off even the smallest of our quaint Canadian towns of Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Whistler.

Banff, Alberta
Mineral hot springs, a legendary backdrop, and a castle have made Banff a year round tourist hotspot. As Canada's first UNESCO protected park, Banff stands as a world template for conversation and offers visitors the quintessential Canadian experience - jaw dropping views and plenty of wildlife!

Calgary, Alberta
Rolling green foothills and golden fields surround this oil-soaked prairie city. As hosts of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, Calgary is spearheading Canada'a economic boom while keeping it real with cowboy culture and plenty of down home hospitality.

Jasper, Alberta,
Soltitude and serenity are hallmarks of Jasper - an untrammelled ecosystem of moose, elk, caribou and bears. This outdoorsy haven offers plenty of adrenalin-charged activities among chiselled mountains, titanic icefields, and delicate ecosystems.

Lake Louise, Alberta
The turquoise-tinged water of Lake Louise nestled amidst an amphitheatre of craggy mountains has precipitated enough clichés to drown a poet. Be wary of random lyrical outbursts and undying love pledges from total strangers.

Seattle, Washington, USA
A thriving port that has long served as a gateway to the North, Seattle stands as the largest city in the Pacific Northwest. Coffee is the black gold of this city, which makes up for its weather with an abundance of exciting attractions and cosy cafes.

Vancouver, British Columbia
Cosmopolitan Vancouver beckons with its eclectic fusion of culture and cuisine. Glass towers and generous green spaces have made Vancouver one of Canada's best loved and most famous cities. Enjoy spectacular views, waterfront dining, and superb shopping in this grown-up wonderland.

Whistler, British Columbia
Named for the whistling marmots that populate the area, this world-renowned ski resort co-hosted the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Enjoy year round adventure. Hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, golfing and shopping all await visitors in this pedestrian-friendly alpine inspired village.

Kamloops, British Columbia
Kamloops is home to over 85,000 people and is known as Canada's Tournament Capital as it hosts over 100 sporting tournaments each year. The name Kamloops came from the Secwepemc word T'kemlups meaning "the meeting of the rivers" as this is where the South Thompson and North Thompson rivers join. A semi-arid ecosystem welcomes travellers to Kamloops - Canada's only desert region with over 2,000 hours of sunshine each year. The vibrant downtown has a mix of unique shops, historic buildings, tree-lined streets, brick sidewalks and over 40 dining establishments.
Upon arrival, the Rocky Mountaineer is greeted by the Kamloops Mounted Patrol, an enthusiastic group of volunteers on horseback.
Kamloops is an overnight journey on the First Passage to the West and Journey through the Clouds routes.

Quesnel, British Columbia
Dating back to the Cariboo Gold Rush of the 1850's and 1860's, Quesnel, aka Gold Pan City, is the beautiful central playground of the North Cariboo. With a population of over 10,000 people, Quesnel has over 18 public parks and only receives 36cm of rainfall per year. Rich in history with a treasure trove of heritage buildings and Canadian nostalgia, Quesnel is the perfect combination of rural charm and quiet city sophistication.
